Received VIN in 30 days

Received config email and ordered 3/23, received VIN today 4/23. AWD. Was contacted about a week earlier about PowerShare and sending pictures videos for them to make plans and send out a contractor did not have a vin at that time.

Damn I’m in Illinois as well! That’s gotta be the fastest turn around time from Config to VIN date for IL! There’s a bunch of people in Illinois with December-January orders still waiting for their VIN haha. You’re extremely lucky! Hope you get your CT soon man!

I was shocked couldn’t believe it was that quick. Be interesting to see if they reach out to others for power wall stuff before they have a vin and then they get a vin soon after. Maybe it was just random but could be something to look out for that you are getting close. Tesla didn’t have an update on possible delivery just said “hopefully available soon” so we will see what that means.

Did you accept the PowerShare quote? That would be kinda messed up if that moves you up in line but maybe.

I wish! I got the message for a survey weeks ago and completed but nothing after that. I still have months to go it seems like. ?
14 days is around average time from VIN to delivery date; the pedal recall has been addressed so hopefully you won’t face any delays.

Ordered 12/28 still no VIN, but I did get a quote for PowerShare ~3K. I told them I didn’t want to do it and they said that would add me to a list of people who denied the free inverter and Tesla will be issuing credits for their store. Nothing from Tesla about the credits yet, but they seem to have a plan for people that don’t want to go through with the install.

I haven’t actually got a quote yet, I did the survey. Didn’t hear back for awhile then got contacted by treehouse to send pictures and videos of where they would install etc. After that maybe week later got VIN. Then today treehouse said they need to send someone out to survey before they can give me a quote for PowerShare so waiting to schedule that.
