Other than looks, what is the point of these? I get that you can attach stuff, but how? Also, wouldn’t these bend toward the inside of the bed if you strapped something heavy to them?

I use bungee cords to attach things to them. I use my truck as a truck so I’m always in need of places to attach tools and other items. These are very well secured but when I use them to tie down heavy items I use the lowest holes of the Molle and haven’t had any problems.

Can someone PLEASE share with me recommended ways to actually mount stuff to this kind of panel?

Is there some kind of store front that specializes in molle hard panel mounting systems, like yakima for roof racks?

I can bolt molle panels to the whole truck, but then what? am I just supposed to zip tie stuff to them?

I use bungee cords and ut works great. I’m sure there are other ways as well but bungee cords are quick and easy.

These are some of my favorites and we mount everything from fishing poles, OC-2 paddles, SAR K9 training equipment, grocery bags, tool bags, rescue boards, hunting gear, camping equipment and skis. You can find a variety of different Molle attachment options online and on Amazon.

THANK you. That first product is at least a start. The rest are either straps or would require me to drill holes into the material between the molle openings. I'll try to figure out how to upvote your helpful response.

Glad to help. The 2nd one I just mount with a ski strap around the center piece that then holds it tight and flush against the panel. Any basic strap would do. The 3rd are just clips that slide right on and the 4th one has a hard back panel that you just thread between the gaps to fit so you shouldn’t have to drill at all if they capture your imagination. Good luck!!

You can also use velcro straps to attach things to the molle panel.

I have the vault divider and use velcro straps to attach a snow brush to it (that's it for now).

While I appreciate the additional strap/tie/cord based suggestions, I am specifically looking for hard mount options, like Hookalakupua's first suggestion.

Anybody can tie anything to anything else. I'm looking to bolt stuff to mounting points, with metal and maybe rubber grippers. I am just surprised there isn't a more robust Molle hard mounting variety.
