Finally I got my wheel covers. But two of them don’t align well with the wheels, and the other two are okay. Wondering if anyone else has the same problem?

You have to pull off the wheel covers that aren't aligned and reinstall them. Tesla has a video of how to install the wheel covers properly.

Thanks! Checked the video and didn’t realize it comes with two pieces!

Don't really understand why Tesla just didn't put holes in hubcaps with a long valve extension to save their customers all this hassle. I haven't had to remove mine yet, but will probably some how mark the cap and tire before removing for easier re-install positioning.

The hassle is being overblown. You only need to line up the 2 pieces on the initial install. With 7 spokes on the rim and 7 on the cover, it doesn't matter how you line it up on reinstall, it's always aligned unless you switch covers between wheels. A firm pull with 2 hands aligned at 2 adjacent spokes easily removes the cover with both pieces attached. To reinstall, just fit the cover back on the rim with the spokes aligned to the tire, support the center and use the base of your fist to seat the 7 spokes and then the center. Takes maybe 30s to remove and replace a cover if you're being thorough. I have no idea how people are breaking clips or scratching rims.

When I pulled the first piece out to realign with the tire, one of the seven clips was broken. It is plastic and very fragile. Eventually, all of them could be broken because I have to take them out to pump the tires!

I still stand firm that this hassle could have been avoided with proper design. I never remember having to remove rims to add air to tires on the many, many other cars I've owned.

I wanted to align mine a bit better after the service center installed them, so I removed the covers. The removal was easy but both parts come off. To separate the two so I could put the inner piece back on and then the outer part aligned properly I had a hell of a time. The clips holding the two parts together were rock hard. Eventually got all 4 separated. However, next time I need to take the covers off (air, offroading ,etc.) I am going to remember which goes to which wheel. I don't want to go through the hassle of separating the two parts.
