too bad its so expensive.
I think it’s substantially cheaper than whichever one Shaq got. I think I’m likely to order one.

I agree. Been looking at these for a while and $2k seems steep. It’s been my main deterrent. There are many other accessories I’ve bought that add much more to the car for less money.
Don’t get me wrong, I spent more than that on fiber optic stars inside the car so it’s not a question of being super frugal, but for something that can only be experienced outside the car…meh…seems like too much.
There is another company called sw lights that does this. Also very expensive. They call it the “nemesis drl” I think.
Can anyone comment on the differences between the two products if any and whether there are other similar options. I may not know about?

Counterpoint, you can experience it outside the car if you’re camping or tailgating. That’s what I’m thinking.

That’s fair. It would make a big difference in terms of parking lot experience too.
I also saw a CES video about products from a company called XK lights that’s seems like they are in the process of releasing some sweet stuff.
Not identical I know, but in my mind that goes in the same bucket of” tricked out exterior lights” so it belongs in a “best value” for pimping out the exterior discussion.

So, where can you get FO stars for the headliner?

The guy who did it for me here in Phoenix is named Kornell Loyd and runs a business by the name of Distinct Tesla’s.
No interest in recommending him whatsoever other than that he’s a nice guy and did a good job for me.. I’ve referred a couple of good friends to him as well and they have not been disappointed.

Hope the link works. Said the file was too big to upload.
This is his website.
Again, no affiliation whatsoever, just had a good experience there.

Is there away to setup an animation or color that isn't legal to be the default when in park and then automatically have it change to a legal color/animation when the truck is put in drive or reverse? I also tend to agree, 2k is a high price, but would consider it if I was able to do the above
