Had a fun one today. I'm an hour drive left of Seattle but most reactions out where I am have so far been waves and excited kids. This morning I'd just left a drugstore, climbed in, and was fiddling with the navigation when a dude walks up and raps on the driver's window pretty loudly. I thought, "Oh, ok, here we go..." and opened the door (window wouldn't go down - still in dog mode, I think). As soon as I opened it, the guy says "Man! I love these things! I've seen you driving around. Can I look inside?".

So we did the walk around and he asked a bunch of questions. I told him I was glad he liked it, as they are polarizing these days and a lot of people don't. His response was "Yeah, those people are morons."

So there is hope for humanity, even near Seattle.

This is how I try to create some goodwill in an attempt to separate the more controversial parts of Tesla (and it’s CEO) from some of the engineering and design excitement of the CT. I bought three dozen Tesla Hot Wheels Cybertrucks from eBay and hand them out when people have questions. Mostly to little kids, but every once in a while, there’s the very excited adult that also appreciates the Hot Wheels Cybertruck.

Well going into a coffee shop a mother and her 2 young sons walking in the car park, were so excited to see a cyber truck up close, I let them sit inside and gave them the dog and pony show of the truck. Mother told me Thankyou and I had made their day.
10 mins later coming out of the coffee shop I see this stuck on my windscreen and reviewed the cameras….
I still see it as a win for the day and feel sorry for the young lady that obviously has issues in her life.

Almost a year of ownership... first couple of months was similar to driving an exotic

Now there are many on the road so only attention comes from the reddit sheep and I just laugh lol

To all Cybertruck and Tesla owners— remember we are motivating the young generation to aspire to sustainable and fun transportation. A big thank you for providing these “tours” and hospitality.

it gets me really excited when I see young kids aspiring for a Tesla

Shes kind of hot. Maybe she likes to do what she said on the note LOL

It's always people in gas cars too. I never see a hater in an EV. I wonder why that is? They are jealous of the expensive vehicle? Or they have some sort of hatred for EVs.

This was in Arkansas?? Wow, God help us. I am sorry you had to go through that.

Isn't it nice that kids love the CT, though?? Children have no learned prejudices and no filters. They see the CT for what it is... new design, original thought, and super cool technology! It is the evolution of the future right before their eyes.

I am in Northern Va. I even had a short foray into politics and have lots of friends on both sides of the isle. I have come to the conclusion that almost everyone hates the CT, while simultaneously (maybe even secretly) loving the CT. Not a single person I have showed it to has left with a negative impression.

I recently talked with an individual I have disagreed with on a few topics and promised her an opportunity to drive the truck. She is elated! One of my best friends absolutely abhors all EV's, (no logical reason... just because he associates them with one side of the political spectrum). Yeah, he makes the whistlindiesel guys look like laid back EV lovers. He is now in a quandary, LOL! He likes the new Elon and wants to drive the CT but says he needs a disguise, so his neighbors don't see him in it. Sometimes you just can't win!

It is crazy times.... but I take solace in what my grandmother told me, "The cream always rises to the top."
