Looks great, what highway speeds can you do with these on? Or are they just for around town?

We have tested up to 95 MPH on highway.
Cool 95 is plenty fast, was there any headwind? Figure a 20-30mph headwind is not unusual in most parts of the country neither is 70-80mph so hopefully they can do 110-120 without issue.

Price should be under thousand dollars to consider buying…
These cost well over $1000 just to produce. That doesn't even include labor and shipping.

I think you guys were going to test if your magnetic covers would work on pre-wrapped CTs, vinyl or PPF. You thought it would work but weren’t sure at the time.

Any update per chance? I’ve got a vinyl wrap but am tempted with that matte white or copper cover. :)

Would love to get a reply on this. I wrapped my truck and saw this option after so I decided not to buy, if these magnets go over a Collor PPF Wrap I'd get one in the future just to change the color every now and then.

What’s to keep someone from just coming along and stealing the magnetic panels?
I mean nothing outside of sentry mode really but they would have to:

1) recognize that you have magnetic panels

And

2) want to steal them for whatever reason

I’d take my chances that bandits out there have more lucrative things to steal than Cybertruck magnetic panels. You Probably have the same/better chance of someone just vandalizing your truck in general.

I suppose these can’t wrap abound edges. I’m also curious how prone they are to chips from road Debris.

Considering the cost of wrapping a truck, I'd say these are fairly priced. Not to mention, the cost of removing a wrap if it gets damage or you want to sell the vehicle. One of the reasons I never wrapped a vehicle was due to the removal cost when trading it in. Wraps can devalue the vehicle.

Further; you could hypothetically remove them and resell them to someone else when you're done with them. Can't do that with a regular wrap.

Can they be installed on top of an existing PPF wrap?
At this time, I wouldn't recommend placing it over a PPF or vinyl wrap. We are looking at higher energy (stronger pull magnets) options for that. Our current product is designed for use directly on the steel.

Those are excellent points. There can be a definitely be a second hand market for magnetic "wraps".
