A suitable German verb to replace the English verb “trump” (meaning “to surpass” or “to outdo”) is: „übertrumpfen“
Spanish isn't bad:

But we should probably all get used to this one:

The last five cars in a row that I bought have been Teslas. I’ve never been more behind a brand. I’ve never displayed that kind of brand loyalty for any type of purchase outside of Apple.

My next car will not be a Tesla (it’ll either be my Aptera or Scout whoever delivers first) and I doubt that I’ll purchase any new ones.

For a long time, I was sure that I would purchase a new roadster, but between the egregious delays and likely egregious depreciation I’m gonna pass on that and possibly get one last special gas car, maybe an Austin Martin.

I intend to keep the X, S and CT until the wheels fall off, but I don’t recommend the brand anymore (and I’m probably responsible for at least a dozen sales among friends and family).

I’m still gonna make rational decisions based on my needs (I am currently waiting for Tesla solar to be installed and I’ve got Starlink). But to the extent that being affiliated with Tesla or driving one is now seen as a political statement that does not align with my values any more than the asshats who are vandalizing these cars does, I’m going to have to remove myself from this whole narrative.

I’ve never had a political bumper sticker on any car that I’ve ever owned (in 40 years of car ownership). I’m damned sure not happy about driving a car that has itself become a political bumper sticker!!!

Had all of this happened before I purchased my CT, for as much as I love it, it never would’ve happened. That’s the truth!

Your loss. You will fail to buy the best EVs out there (or you can currently get in the US). Most people who drive Tesla’s could care less about politics, they just want the best vehicle. I don’t like Amazons or Starbucks CEOs but I sure spend alot of money on their businesses.

It's better to be pissed off than pissed on. If everyone's political views impacted their materialistic purchases as much as these idiot hating Tesla people think they do, we would all be walking around naked. Get a life, if you can't do that buy a dog and name it life.

It is not the CEO political view. However political actions speak in this case a lot louder than words.

We have Elon time for a reason. It doesn't work like regular time. Yeah FSD has taken forever and he is usually off on his timeline. But we are talking about one of the biggest and most diffficult challenges of all time. I grew up with Knight Rider. It was fantasy. One day we will see that happen for real.
