What a bunch of BS. Elon is the driving force behind Tesla. Highly debatable about being better than a Rivian. No steerbywire, way smaller bed, doesn’t have the fun factor of the Cybertruck, and FSD is icing on the cake. It is a great truck but on my drives in it it’s an electrified Ridgeline. And you cry about the stock. Tesla has always been highly volatile. The stock is at the same level it was last year.

My first-ever new car lasted 25 years. The Cybertruck is only my 2nd new vehicle, hopefully it'll last long enough that I don't need to make any purchase decisions anytime soon lol

I’ve never had a political bumper sticker on any car that I’ve ever owned (in 40 years of car ownership). I’m damned sure not happy about driving a car that has itself become a political bumper sticker!!!
Agree with this. Both home and autos for a couple of reasons. Without going into more detail there, the wife and I decided the best way to show our “feelings and opinions” on the current climate was to put a 1”x 2” Ukraine flag decal on each of our three Teslas. Both sides have their feelings on the support, and especially given the recent developments of that subject, I’m hoping it will show that maybe a would-be thumb or finger giver, or even someone about to vandalize that their assumptions MIGHT not be as clear as they first assume.

Last week I drove my model 3P back across Nebraska from Denver. I’ve owned two of them over almost 6 years and never once had any negative gestures in that car. I had multiple thumbs down as passing people on the interstate. Most from 25-45 yr olds. I live in a very publicly known blue dot in the middle of a red state and generally only receive positivity here in Omaha, even in the CT. Really curious is this tiny decal will make a difference.

Again BS about Elons lies. Sure he fibs and sucks at time lines. What major auto maker or leader doesn’t. I see you live and breath off of his every word. Yes, 99.9% of the cars out there don’t have steer-by-wire, that’s one of the features that makes the CT so damn good and fun!!! It makes you wonder what is wrong with every other car once you go backward. Drive motor failures - yeah some trucks may have crappy motors but they will be taken care of. Thankfully mine has been perfectly fine and is still going strong. I will tell you that my tonneau cover has been great, something you can’t say! It’s another great feature that sets the truck apart from the others. And getting into the bed, hello!, all that is needed is use the foothold on top of the bumper (right behind the rear tire) and get yourself up. It’s very easy. I put all kinds of crap in my bed and there is no need for a ladder.
There is all kinds of subtle differences between the trucks. Some good and some not so good. The Rivian is a nice truck but the bed size is a big no go for me. I had my Ridgeline long enough and had to deal with its smaller bed. If I didn’t have the Cybertruck I would probably go for the Silverado with its midgate functionality. I don’t off-road but every in-depth video I see on capability but the Cybertruck and the Rivian just about equal.
Do you know there is probably a Rivian forum that you can be on? Why don’t you hang out there and stop crying on this forum.

I don’t think it will make any difference. People are so polarized and don’t use their brains. I do support Ukraine but what is their endgame? They can’t have an ultimate victory. How long do you keep pouring money into a never-ending battle. Again I think it’s a failure of advertising how Tesla is an American brand, made here in America, by American people, in Austin.

They will all move on in a few months. There's no way this is going to continue. I would just ignore it until then. Once this is out of the news cycle and out of their social media feed it will be over. Tesla isn't going anywhere so they are going to be pretty busy being upset at millions of cars.

Teslas in general? You have a reasonable chance of being correct.

Cybertruck? There’s no historical prologue for a comeback from this type of sustained brutal reception by the general public.

Somebody didn’t get a beast and doesn’t know how to use off-road mode and prep the truck properly. Because yes, CT blows an R1T away in both cases.
As someone who owned R1T and now owns a Beast, I can confirm that everything you said above is accurate! I haven’t done extreme off roading, but Beast outperforms in my opinion.

The individual Torque vectoring would continue to get better with the software update, and that’ll make Beast much better off roading truck than axle locked vehicles.

The suspension on my R1T rattled and squeaked, especially when you changed the height. Beast is smooth as a butter but as badass as any Truck could get!

The quad motor Rivian has been reviled by just about everybody that’s taken it out for some serious limitations. Just prior to his video slamming his cyber truck for having a catastrophic failure (while he continued to drive it around in limp mode) Kyle complained about all of the problems that he had with his Rivian including multiple trips to the repair shop for motor issues.

I don’t have a problem with Rivian. If I thought it was a better truck I would own one.
