Not as ridiculous as the constant nut gobbling of some people who have to twist reality to avoid facing what is obvious to the rest of the world.
The haters have a twisted world view and have been consistently wrong about Elon's companies. They said Tesla would go bankrupt, that they were faking the accounting, that their cars were junk that wouldn't last, that Tesla would never release the Model S, they would never release the Model 3, that they would never release the Cybertruck, that they would never make a profit, that Elon was a drug addict and a Nazi, etc. Now Tesla is the only auto company in the world with the best selling car in the world. And, guess what? It's a pure electric car!

Toyota would love to have this title (and they did for many years), Honda would love to have this title, so would GM, Ford and Dodge. But none of them do. Only the auto manufacturer owned by Elon Musk has had the best-selling car in the world for two years in a row.

The haters said Elon didn't know enough about rockets to succeed, that SpaceX would go bankrupt. The haters hoped the astronauts would die as they have during every other major space program since Apollo, 21 dead astronauts in total, from Apollo to the Space Shuttle, to the Russian Soyuz space program. But SpaceX has never lost a single astronaut (and it's twisted in the extreme to hope for astronaut deaths simply because it would make Elon look bad).

SpaceX is the only private company in the world that can bring astronauts back and forth between earth and the ISS. They can do it for a fraction of the cost of the Russians. SpaceX is the only company that can land orbital rockets and re-use them. Not even other governments can do that. That's something Elon made happen. He hired the right people, gave them the right mission, and got sufficient funding. none of this is easy (although the naysayers will constantly act like they could have made it happen because it's no big deal).

What's obvious to the rest of the world is that the Elon haters are irrational and have been as wrong as wrong can be. Being irrational is the only way they could have got so much wrong. The fact that FSD took longer than Elon projected just pales in comparison.

Put it to rest, Elon haters need to get a life and get some real achievements under their belts, before they can act like Elon is no big deal. It's not about ball-licking (as you call it), it's about giving credit where credit is due. No one said the man is perfect, but there is no doubt he is extraordinary, and a huge credit to human civilization.

In your head, you are imagining that Elon attempted to get on a world stage at a gaming competition and declare himself king of Diablo.

In reality, he has an utterly insane work schedule where he probably works 16 hours a day, and is a billionaire, and hired someone to boost his account for him for obvious reasons. He wanted to play at a certain level but didn't want to waste away the hours grinding to get there.

The fact that you think this is not only newsworthy, but worthy of bringing up as a mark against his person (character), then it's painfully obvious that you have a very juvenile and irrational hatred for the man.

Tell ya what, I wish you and him could swap places for a day you we could plant a microscope up your nostrils and see what's really going on as well.

I’m calling bullshit right now! I often work 16 hours a day (or more). Elon works waaaasaaaaaay more than that! That doesn’t mean he’s not a dick hole!

You may continue.

Grok says the jacket logo is "Vissla" "off the grid". But I can't locate an exact match of that jacket in any google search.

Literally no-one here is doing that; but ironically you are doing the inverse.
