Public REACTIONS to Your Cybertruck (and Your Reaction)? [Admin Warning: NO POLITICS]

No way, 1 every 10 miles???? That would get to me pretty quickly. Is it the same person during your commute every day?

You're probably getting them more than you realize. I hardly ever catch it myself but when my wife is with me she's constantly calling out, there's another... and she says she see it all the time when she driving alone.

Got our first egging today... gotta admit it's starting to get to me a bit. I have being anxious driving something i washed so long for, enjoyed so much all last summer, and still love me than any other vehicle I've owned.

It's especially crazy as I'm about as liberal and progressive as the come. I keep trying to tell people this kind of thing only hurts our cause and is indicative of why the left lost the center.

Try to stay calm about it and react with calm kindness. It does throw them off. Twice now I've used a verbal defense technique I read about where you calmly, in a genuine sincere tone, hit them with something really random right out of the gate. Like, "Hi, have you ever heard of a frozen blue cantaloupe?" Most people kinda freeze and short circuit for a minute. When they finally respond, just say, "sorry, my brain drifted for a second, are you OK? Is there anything I can do or answer for you?" It worked both times in deescelating, one made a parting quip but both just walked away confused ?.

I was driving down the street with the windows down on a warm day. As I was driving by a man standing in his yard, who looked at my CT, I heard him yell "what the hell?" with his arms raised!

I saw a man taking a picture of my CT while I was parked. I asked him what do you think? He said, "he doesn't like it." Wondering why he took the picture then?

Open letter to Tesla
As Foundation Series owners, we are the real world influencers to the general public concerning all things Tesla.
Every single day I’m approached by someone wanting to learn about my experience with my Cybertruck.
In spite of recent hateful comments about Tesla, we have the opportunity to give the general public a very positive review of our experience.
I understand the reasoning behind allowing new Tesla cybertruck purchasers a chance to get unlimited supercharging.
I believe we all support Tesla‘s effort to get more cybertrucks on the road, I also feel that as a foundation series owners we have paid the premium cost of being an early adopter.
I‘m proposing what I think is a very reasonable request of Tesla.
I would like to be able to apply my $2500 Credit toward the cost of purchasing unlimited supercharging.
If this is not possible, at least allow us to use the $2500 credit for supercharging for as long as the funds Last.

On a positive note, as today is DQ free icecream cone day for spring 1st, I had about 10 kids thrilled to see the cybertruck in line at DQ (5-12 yrs). A couple of them kept yelling "cybertruck, cybertruck".
That was nice and refreshing, some of the parents not so nice with their looks but I just smiled.

Yes I took my kids to get their free icecream cone too.

I believe the children are the future!

I kinda like that strategy, out crazy the crazy.

I think we all just need to be aware that the CT has become a symbol to target for some groups. Being aware of this can help us protect us our friends and family that may be with us and of course our property. There is a nationwide "Take Down Event" scheduled for March 29th, so just be aware of it. Had an old dude step out of his truck next to me at a rest stop and give me and my daughters a full bird salute. That one irritated me because my kids don't like riding in the truck anymore because of the hostility.

My trips to and from town are less than 10 miles, and it is a surprise when I don't get the finger.

I love the idea of saluting each other with the bird. That would make my day. If you see a Cybertruck in Whatcom County, WA with a Mars AG rack let it fly. You'll get smile from me.

A parking lot security guard recently approached me just as I was hopping into the car to leave, she had been checking the truck out the entire time it was parked, and she went, “heyy, I’ve never seen one of these before, I heard of them, what’s is it, is it one of them flying cars?”
