Cybertruck proves its safety advantage once again. Posted by an owner who was T-boned in his Cybertruck.

A few days ago, our Cybertruck saved my life and the life of my 5-year-old daughter. We were T-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light going 60 miles per hour.
The police on the scene told us that if we had been in any other vehicle, the car would’ve flipped and been torn in half.
I’ll be buying a new Cyberbeast this week. If you love your family, buy a Tesla.

OK, I'm glad the owner and his 5-year-old daughter were kept safe. That is awesome and amazing, especially considering his daughter was spared. But this is a confusing situation because he says he's buying another Cybertruck.

Is he saying that the safety of his family is somehow more important than the political statements of the CEO of the company that manufactures the Cybertruck?

People who drive drunk should be charged with attempted murder.

As a Collision Reconstructionist, I can state that the CT is one of the safest vehicles you can buy. Weight, number of airbags, and rigidity are the keys to surviving a T-bone crash. The CT has all those in spades. It's not about which parts broke off, or the damage to the other vehicle. It's about the cabin. Is it compromised? Was there intrusion? Did the airbags deploy in the right spot? Etc. In my service I attended 315 fatal collisions, some with more than one fatality-all the way up to 4. Be smart enough to put on your seatbelt and the Ct will protect you as good or better than any other passenger vehicle out there.
Oh ya. Who cares about the political foolishness that's going on. It will pass. But the CT will continue protecting.

Not everyone understands irony in the form of sarcasm. Really need a font for that!
