How effective is it in bad weather? Did it help?

Not really. The yellow tint is very faint. It just looks cool cause it changes color with sunlight from different angles.
These on my Model X Plaid is super yellow and it helps during inclement weather. They are from TWRAPS.

Couldn’t that be solved by just layering it? This isn’t that different from “gels” that are used in photography.

Blue light on any vehicle other than official use is not a good idea - same with red on the front like I see a lot of jeep owners doing.

Stick with yellow or white.

Thanks for sharing everyone. I was thinking I wouldn’t be the only one not wanting to spending $1000 on additional lights. (Even though I did.)

I love my ditch lights, but the top light bar is over kill for my situations so far.

Easy. It's dry application. With heat gun for edges and curve surfaces

How much does it help in inclement weather?

It produces less glare, fewer light scattering and slightly better contrast. I think if my LED headlights has dual white and yellow with the ability for me turn on the yellow and off the white, on demand would be the perfect combination.
