Had the truck since July, and still love to drive it every day. I've lately developed a new routine to wind down if I haven't been in it running errands all day. Late night, I'll hop in the truck with the dog and we'll let FSD take us for a drive while I crank some tunes.

I don't set a destination - just pull out of the driveway and hit the 'go' button. I live in a rural, wooded, area and the roads are mostly winding two lanes through forest. Very dark, no street lights, lots of sweeping turns and occasional surprise 20MPH sharp corners. The truck goes where it wants, and after a handful of songs, I'll tell it to head back home and let it figure out how it wants to do that. All the time, I'm just chilling and listening to tunes while the forest goes by.

What's struck me lately is how smooth FSD has gotten. Yes, it'll still hug the double yellow on an outside left sweeper sometimes, but it is SO smooth on the winding turns and abrupt corners. Gentle braking, smooth deceleration and acceleration when it needs to coming in an out of curves, etc. I've mentioned before that my wife prefers the truck driving to my driving, as she doesn't get motion sick when it drives. That's really begun to stand out to me.

Also, last night (dark, rainy), the truck came around a right hand bend doing maybe 30 and abruptly slowed and went to the left side of the road. I didn't see it until after the truck reacted, but a raccoon was crossing the right lane and the truck avoided it. Previous versions of FSD hadn't been registering small animals in my experience, so I was happy to see that maybe they've added some training.

And, finally, two recommendations for tunes that sound excellent in the CT. I've got these on a USB stick at a high bit rate, but you can crank them through youtube:

Cymatics - Nigel Stanford (Good intro to the range and separation of the CT's speakers, sounds awesome cranked)

Absurd - Fluke (When you have a 20 minute drive but need to be there in 10 minutes ....)

I'm bummed that the CT has become a symbol, when what it really is is an amazing vehicle.

I agree. Best Truck I have ever driven! Love to drive around and listen to the amazing sound system... My black labs shed way to much to take them with me though. :)

If you ever make a spotify playist you should publish it.
