I believe that there are two different types of mirrors. There's the one shown above, and the second one is made by Hansshow.

I have the TesStudio one that @ShockAuto posted and it’s great except for the “Audio system” error that many people are experiencing. The right speaker on the passenger side is not working due to the wiring harness.

I spoke with the TesStudio team and they are expecting to fix this via a software update at some point. But it’s still pretty annoying.

Similiar issue here. I had same error on screen and my phone bluetooth microphone stopped working. I can hear people, but they can't hear me. Unplugged the harness from oem computer and everything is back to normal, but obvisouly no rearvew camera currently. Very annoying.

I have the s92 mirror fro tesstudio. Very happy with the features but one thing that’s not obvious from the reviews, it does not have a fuse. If it shorts, It’s cooked.

I also have the S92 from Tes Studio and now that the weather is getting hot in the South, it overheats and glitches repeatedly. They have not responded to my requests for support. Someone else on this forum reached out to me with the same issue. I did a review video for them and have since taken down the video.

For the record, a friend of mine has the Hansshow mirror installed and his also stops working when it overheats.

Here is what I'd like like - a dual external wireless camera rear view mirror.

This would allow a camera mounted high for the rear and one mounted in the bed with no wires. There are solar options that come with a separate monitor. Would be great if the monitor was a rear view mirror. Simple install. I'll take the trade off of recharging the cameras if necessary.

Dang. I already have the S92 and was planning on returning it or doing a chargeback if they don’t want to cooperate. I reached out to them and they asked me to wait for a new firmware but I don’t want to gamble that it they may or may not get it fixed before my return window closes. So I was looking at reviews and installs of the Hansshow and got my hopes up but after reading this and living in Phoenix it seems I am SOL for now. I really wish Tesla would have just done a camera mirror from the rear camera feed. My buddies Ram has this, seems like it wouldn’t have been to crazy to add it. Here was the response I got last night from Tesstudio.

I am going to give them tonight to respond otherwise I may just go the chargeback route and see where that gets me. I ordered like $500 worth of stuff like 2 weeks ago. Got the mirror first and the 3d printed cap in two separate shipments on different days. The 2 cheap items said they shipped more than a week ago but still don’t have them and I ordered the lighted door sill magnet strips and they haven’t even shipped yet. Suffice it to say I don’t think I will be ordering from Tessstudio again and especially if they don’t make this right.
