So finally got tired of getting in and out of the truck to keep checking the front and rear clearance in my garage. Tried the laser thing, tennis ball from the ceiling in the middle of the garage is an eye sore, parking stoppers have to be bolted to the floor which I didn’t want to do but what I did have is plenty of wood from previous home project so why not craft something. Attached is what I came up with and I can flip it up when not in use. Also works every time.

Anyone else came up with something different?

Wow... tight fit. 3" of real clearance max on each end? Nice job

Actually a little less cause of the garage door struts protruding so maybe 2” in the front and ya close to 3” in the rear.

Nice creative solution! Damn, that’s a super tight fit. lol.

I have a 23’ deep garage (luckily!) and they way I judge how far to back in is using the dirt line on the floor where the garage door touches the floor. As I back in, I use the front camera to get the front of the truck a couple of inches behind the line. That sets it up perfect…and even if my trunk gets accidentally opened, it won’t hit the garage door (comes within 1.5 inches though!).

You’re lucky you can open your trunk. That’s one of the things I’m being very mindful when I open my app. I even removed it from quick access so I don’t accidentally open it.

Yeah, I’d do the same if I were in your situation.

Actually, I removed the open frunk shortcut for that reason…until my frunk switch failed back in Feb and the frunk would auto open if my truck wasn’t locked. That’s how found out it would hit the garage door. I would’ve been pissed if the switch failure caused damage to the frunk.

I just removed mine from quick access because I feared accidentally dropping it on someone else's car in a parking lot.

My garage is also tight. My solution was a parking sensor. Easily adaptable and changes color from green, yellow to red. But you might be a bit tighter space than my garage. Brilliant solution you made though.

That’s a good option though. I might get that still and use it for my MS. You guys probably won’t believe me but I actually fit my MS next to that too when I have it here. What a B*^# to get out though. ? I have her at my buddy’s house right now cause he’s got a 3-car garage and he’s only got his 1 truck here right now. When I have her here and parked side by side, I’ll take a pic.

Found a pic of them parked side by side but have to apologize it’s blurry. But meet Big Cybil’s older sister, Tessa. Had to sacrifice a few pizzas, burgers, fries and shakes to keep doing that. Thankfully my buddy hasn’t brought down the rest of his toys so I can keep using his garage instead.

Machmax even blurry that is crazy. Want I would like to know is how you or your misses gets in and out of the car or truck. It sure does not look like you have any real space to open the doors even 1/2 way.

I know I do not have a Cyber but when we had our home built years ago I had them do the garage 24' long and put in extra 2' wide side raised walkways on both sides. Being a custom built home I had that freedom and just cost me a bit extra but not that much. They just did the forms a bit bigger/longer.

May post a pic if you want. But they really have come in handy many times.

? the trick is Summon when it’s not being stubborn. But mostly, open MS door a bit, roll down the window and blow out all the air out of my lungs, suck in my belly as much as I can , pucker in every anatomy that’s hanging out and squeeze in. Out the MS then the CT, reverse the order going in.

I only make sure that I can do both cars inside in case of hurricane which we get here. In normal days, only 1 car is inside.

I downgraded from a 3-story with parallel garage to a single story. Hated stairs and upkeep. Plus, I just imagined putting up window shutters While climbing ladders and shook my head. I didn’t think down the road something like a Cybertruck was gonna come. I love my Tacoma and still happy with it. We had to go on break for now, drove and drop it off at my parents in Cali.
