Is it me or is FSD for the cybertruck getting way worse? It’s unusable at times because it’s hugs the left & right lane line and even goes over it sometimes! This hazardous behavior needs to be addressed, I had to disengage fsd multiple times because it came dangerously close to hitting road cones. Then it just decided to hang out between lanes. I allowed it to do this so I could get it on camera for everyone at Tesla to see it. I pay attention when driving but others may not. Anyone else having this bad of a time?

Yeah, it’s a thing… I’ve also left mine to see how far outside the lines it goes and it will hit the rumble strips outside the lane for sure.
The cybertruck definitely comes with FSD SUPERVISED.

I’ve driven quite a bit on FSD and am at the point where I can predict when I’ll have to interve on city streets, and highways… although it loves to keep me on my toes and go off script when I least expect it to every now and then.

Don’t know why this model is giving them so much trouble. They’ve said in the past that someday they might sell their hardware and software to other auto makers to incorporate into their vehicles. This makes me think that’ll never happen if a change in dimensions causes so much headache. If it’s SBW/4WS not agreeing with it, they need to figure it out. Once the sexy cars get unsupervised we’re gonna be super jealous.

See and everyone was crying, give the CT FSD, I’ve owned it X days and still no FSD. All the comments was flying. Now here we are, it’s not good enough yet. I’m with ya tho, it’s not good enought yet, definitely not robotaxi ready. We gonna need millions of miles on it for it to be great.

I think you’re exactly right. I heard Lars say something about having enough cybertruck footage to do a native cybertruck FSD on a video just recently. It was during questions asked by the audience at a cybertruck meet. He said the placement of the cameras on the cybertruck was to match as closely as possible to the model Y so we can use their video until we have enough video for the cybertruck. The FSD is better on the model Y in my opinion. That said, my wife and I fight over who gets to take the cybertruck every week.

Annoyed. The drifting around is downright embarrassing. Sure driving around suburbia and two lane roads does fine. Get out on a highway. Look like an idiot. Yet I am tugging at the wheel. Saying come on baby just get past the semi. What a joke Cybertruck FSD has become. Over 30k on my truck. Let me transfer my FSD from this POS to a different new Tesla. Wonder if anyone has done that yet?

Out of curiosity, was there a prevailing wind blowing you toward the lines?

My CT stays does not do what yours did at all, normally, but I have noticed it have trouble staying centered in lateral strong winds.

I’m in the middle of a 400+ mile trip and:

1) stays too far left. Rumble strip left.
2) gets in the MIDDLE when a semi is on its right instead of the left side hug
3) getting the wiper on dry windshield at all times of the day. Like it sees dust or something
4) very slow lane changes at times. People behind me think I’m really OLD
5) engaging FSD results in random speed limit settings. No idea why it chooses what it does
6) doesn’t read speed limit signs on left side of hiways
7) too aggressive on passing other cars that are only one mph faster than me. I know chill would probably improve, but standard is acting like hurry mode

Shall I list more?

Looks like they won’t allow transfers off a FS CT or a Launch Series Y, probably for future resale value.

Meanwhile I drive HOURS without touching the wheel or pedals. It’s odd to see how inconsistent it seems to be for people.

Mine does really well too. Like so well I dare say it’s ready to be unsupervised, then other people get stuff like this. Too much alcohol in the wiper fluid?
