I ordered the one from TesLaunch. As for the original damage, I would still like to repair, if possible. I was looking at a Permatex repair kit; however, they have a fabric and leather/vinyl kit. I don't even know if either of these is effective, but they seem to be popular in other cars.you can get one of the armrest covers that are offered by many of the companies. Such as TesLaunch and Evannex.
Well, I must have done it myself, even if I don't recall how. I know it wasn't like that when I took delivery. I would feel bad having it replaced when it was my fault. It's such a small imperfection that there has to be a way to sufficiently repair it myself.Have you tried to get the armrest cover replaced under warranty? Unless you cut or knowingly damaged it,they might replace it. Worth a SC visit.
I had mine fail in the same spot, also blamed myself initially then thought about it further and realized the product failed. Never had any sharp objects or anything like that pass over the console, its like the material just bubbled up and got rubbed off.Well, I must have done it myself, even if I don't recall how. Wow. Ok, that makes me feel a lot better about the situation. Did you take it to SC?I had mine fail in the same spot, also blamed myself initially then thought about it further and realized the product failed. If enough people send in pictures like this to the SCs then maybe they will realize the material or bonding is an Issue and needs to be fixed.
Best of luck.

A new arm rest. Take old one off, bolt on new. Quick and easy. Then buy a cover.A new Cybertruck?
+1. Unless you’re good at blending leather textures and colors, skip the repair; get a new part or a cover.Order a new one.
Yea, booked the appt through the app and first repair was mobile service but they botched the job. There was a large gap between the new top and bottom half of the lid.Wow. Ok, that makes me feel a lot better about the situation. Did you take it to SC?
