I also bought it from Anysix when it was first released, they were very responsive here on the forum. I think they were a week on the market before any of the others. Like I said earlier I've looked at the parts of all the kits and its the same kit.

It is nice to have it facing you but it would be nice if it was raised an inch instead of lowered an inch.

Your screen delete pics make me wish it was just a projected heads up display

Interesting.. Thanks for posting this, which config did you end up going with? Is having it lower as intended an issue? I would figure it being a little lower would make it slightly easier to reach, probably also easier to bump into tho.

Any configuration other than intended install creates a large arc of the screen because of the mounts angle. When its pulled over to one side the closer corner goes down and the farther corner goes up. It was very annoying to look at for any time while tilted.

Appreciate the reply.. I had planned on going with the stock config install anyway, I don't think I'll mind it being an inch or two lower, but from your reply it seems like anything other than isnt an option anyway. Question, why did you want it higher? Isn't it more in your field of view and further to reach?

I just got one of those center console fridges. Wonder if that will be a problem. Supposedly not. It would tuck to find that out after installing it. I’d be giving up the under-screen clear storage thing though so that makes some space I suppose too.

Woah, $92!

And yes, lots of Chinese parts come from the same OEMs and just get private-branded. Some tipoffs this is the same as the one I got is the instruction sheet. Same. And the box packaging. Same.

I got the swivel because I, generally, sit far back, and so the far right corner of the display is quite far for me to reach, without leaning forward. It's an easier reach with the swivel. As for the height of the display, it could be an inch higher, but I don't want the display to impede my view, especially given how large the forward A-pillar is. Seeing out that little corner glass is important. If someone shorter than me were to drive, a higher display could block their forward view. The pic I posted in post #3 was to show how it looks from my actual viewpoint. As you can see, it's one inch below the bottom edge of the windshield view: Post #3

I am tall so the screen was fairly low stock and an inch lower was noticable. In the current time it would be nice to look at the speed or map and not have to look down so far.
In the future when FSD is unsupervised having it higher for a movie, web browsing, game playing, etc would be much nicer.

It brings it down about an inch so if there is more than that in space between the door and the bottom of the screen you should be fine.

I’ll second (or third or fourth) the benefits of the swivel. Got one from Anysix Oct of last year so paid a bit of a premium, but completely worth it for all the reasons people have mentioned.

There is room for improvement…namely a vertical adjustment to raise the screen an inch or two would be nice as would a forward/back adjustment to slide it out just a bit closer to the driver or passenger.

For those concerned about the warranty, I did have a defect in my screen that required a total screen replacement. I simply swapped the mounts back, service did the work under warranty, then I reinstalled.

Same, and that's what led me to this post basically, I was leaning over for a while and didn't like it. The display doesn't impede my view now and I don't see being an inch lower being too problematic. I think it looks perfectly fine from the point of view you posted.

Good to know about the warranty.. Just curious what defect did you have? Any chance it was from the swivel or install?

I got my swivel mount from anysix and I am very happy that I did it. What I would like to share with everybody who put a swivel amount in is that while I was installing it, I noticed a slight problem.
For any of you who installed a swivel mount, if you remember the part where you put the two bolts from the swivel mount through the back of the body of the screen. What a lot of people don't realize is that bar on the swivel mount that gets bolted to the back of the screen. The bar goes right above the plug for the screen and when you tighten the bolts up, it puts pressure on the plug. So right away I called Anysix and told them about the problem and I recommended that they install a washer thick enough to bridge the gap so there's no pressure on the plug. But what I did on my end instead of waiting for a new modification, I modified what I had and crazy glued 2 washers to each side
(just a little dab so the washers don't move) to the top of the mounting part of the back of the screen so the bar for the mount would sit higher and clear the plug.
How did I notice this? I'm glad you asked. While looking at the back of the screen when it is disconnected, you can see that the two mounting points on the back of the screen sit a little bit lower than the plug. You can see what I'm talking about in the picture that I added. I put a straight edge across
the two mounting points on the back of the screen and you can tell that the plug would be in the way.
Anysix was very pleased with the information I gave them and they refunded half of my money back without me asking for anything.
