Our best hope is to let the AGI do that. People want to act like most of the data set for LLMs is “lame stream media.” False. It’s tough when the sum of human virtue and reason leads you down the opposite road that you want to go down. Jesus would have a hell of a time with the crowd that currently believes they’re the most righteous.

It’ll be dicey either way.

We have some guideposts. If everybody lived the way they claimed to on Sunday, in this nation, would be all right. Our Constitution as written would be a good start too.

Problem is most folks prefer to thump those books over reading and living it. And I’ve yet to meet a “Constitutional ____” who knows or (and this is important) UNDERSTANDS more than two words of what that document actually says.

The more they learn what it actually says the less they like it. Hence, the ConCon movement and so forth. Folks on the other side are equally ignorant.

My view: were fucked! Machiavellians on one side; morons on the other. No one will win.

I think unfettered AGI would lead us to a new Garden of Eden that we would promptly (and probably violently) reject. Just like the first Matrix.

Its unfortunate that some folks' sarcasm filters are broken. For all the obvious political/social commentary in this thread, an obvious sarcastic comment gets deleted.

In the end, theres a place for endless discourse on the finer points of AI and its various social and political implications. Its called Reddit, I believe.

In the end this thread should be really about the AI feature coming to our Teslas and not the grander scope of AI and its implications.

Whether any specific person likes it, uses it, or understands it is out of scope and thus the thread should be moved to an off topic forum or locked.

According to teslafi as of this morning I haven't seen a single vehicle get the new update. I suspect it is going to employees first and we'll see the first rollouts within weeks, similar to any other software update.

its the 3 little dots at the bottom that bring up all your apps. But you won't see Grok until you get the software update no one has yet
