My bet (which is meaningless) is that they will have modular built units like this in the near future and fill in where diners can be a profit center with the supercharging. They are modularizing the superchargers now, and also astonishingly going off grid with the installs. Imagine a *boxabl* version of the diner off grid on interstates, secondaries, national parks, etc....

LA/WeHo is a good start to make it a see and be seen thing. I wish it was still called Milliways though.

It's WeHo (West Hollywood). Famous for:
Sunset strip, Design District, entertainment-celebrity-LGBTQ+ cultures, progressive policy and community, nightlife and events.

I was there on 3 July, driving around in my Texas plated Cyberbeast, checking out the Diner and surrounding areas. I came across many other Cybertrucks and Teslas and I was not harassed or assaulted ?

lol yeah the neighborhood is fine. I mean it's not Mayberry but it's a normal big city area. You may see a homeless person.

Man that place looks amazing. The style is something else. Cybertruck fits right in.

Yeah. Looks like we’re headed into a very different time than the early days.
In 2015 we hardly ever even saw another Tesla when we stopped at a supercharger unless it was right in the middle of a very high population city.

I was joking, but downtown L.A. is actually a few miles away from the chargers and where the shooting happen but its rare enough that I wouldn't worry about it. I've been in the area of the chargers plenty of times without incident.

Yeah…nostalgia. If I was getting 120kw that was blazing. lol
I also remember having to show off the falconwing doors like 4 times a day and people stopping to photograph the car. Lol

With only Optimus bots as employees. It would be a real world training center for them as well as a demonstration that Ai robotics is finally here and not a science fiction fantasy anymore.

I'd be willing to bet they will also have wireless charging pads and a refit station to clean robotaxis as well. That of course, will be manned by Optimus.

So many endless possibilities have opened up.

Cybertruck parked at Tesla's completed Hollywood Diner and Supercharger! Besides the diner itself, the site will also include a drive-in movie theater with two 45-foot LED movie screens and about 80 V4 Supercharger stalls

Looks awesome. I think Tesla should collaborate with Buc-ee's and put identical diners at some of the Buc-ee's locations.

imagine Elon's vision saves the diner theme which is dying after no interest by the delivery generation...bring back diners, they are amazing meeting places
i do remote work at them occasionally
