I'm just looking for a roof rack to store things like inflatable paddleboards and miscellaneous camping off-roading stuff. Is this a good fit for me?

Also, it seems like it does from the pictures but it shouldn't affect the Tesla Cybertent right?
it’s gonna work great, and it works with the Cybertent!

I saw you guys are in Fremont, is it possible for me to drive to you, buy it then have you install it? If so do I need to schedule it and how long would it take?
Hey there. Unfortunately we currently don’t have a storefront and do not offer installation services. It’s very straightforward and easy to install tho. You can easily do it in less than 30 minutes solo!

So I guess that means I can't at least pick it up in person to avoid shipping?

Our warehouse is in LA but the rack systems ship free!

Wife and I are in the South Bay and did our installation of the full rack. Willing to help if you need.

It is extremely easy to do, I know it looks intimidating but it really isn't. I install mine by myself.

For those considering adding the Mars AG Wind Deflector to their racks, I did some completely unscientific testing of sound levels with a handheld sound level meter from Radio Shack that I had lying around. I did not control for wind or temperature, or anything but the route I took for each pass.

Truck: Foundation Cyberbeast, stock A/T tires.
Summary: It helps.

Measurements:

No Rack:
45 MPH: 63db ("A" weighted), 78db ("C" weighted)
67 MPH: 67db ("A"), 79 ("C")

Full rack, no wind deflector:
45 MPH: 64db ("A"), 79db ("C")
67 MPH: 72db ("A"), 79db ("C")

Full rack, with wind deflector:
45 MPH: 64db ("A"), 78db ("C") [Note: at 45, it was flickering between 63 and 64db]
67 MPH: 68db ("A"), 79db (C")

So, at highway speeds, I think the deflector does make a noticeable difference.

For info on the "A" vs "C" weightings, see: Frequency Weightings - A-Weighted, C-Weighted or Z-Weighted?
