Does it show the CT nav or some other app? I already have a display rear view camera installed that pulls power by the passenger door, will this conflict?

Very interested in a detailed review of this driver's display. Was very disappointed when Tesla decided to fully remove the display option, so if be very interested in reviewing this product to share with the community. Count me in!

I am an advocate for CarPlay and have been looking for ways to bring it into my Cybertruck. The wifi box units you need to connect to through an IP address don't work as well as I hoped they would. Also, I want it in front of me since I predominantly use Waze and don't want to take my eyes off the road. Other units like yours block the air so this is a brilliant idea that I would absolutely love to test.

I would be more than happy to record the installation process, set up, and general use. I work with a team of professional photographers and videographers and would be happy to send you some high quality shots & videos as a thank you as well.

It's not that it's necessarily better, but I use Waze, PocketCasts, and Glorify/Dwell daily and none of them are available on Tesla's screen and I don't like the alternatives. Also, it's just fully integrated with my phone so I can interact with most apps right on the screen.

I too have been waiting for someone to explain what they think was the benefit of CarPlay. I don't ever use it for anything either and did not understand the draw...

Would like to install and test a few things out on my CT. Music streaming apps and CT main console location for instrument cluster are really not ideal for good driving. Was waiting for a good option. Will be happy to create the install video and provide a review along the process.

This monitor is sweet, is it wireless/battery powered?

Thank you. It does have a built in battery so you can take it out and use it as baby monitor for about 5 hours at a friend house or tent or something but I keep it plugged in. It does two cameras by split screen which is cool and has solid night vision.comes in black or white and there is a newer version with some fancy AI that seems a little unnecessary to me. I use one camera for the backseat usually and one for the rear facing car seat but you could just as easily use one as a bed cam.
The cameras are wireless too in the sense that they transmit over the air but if you want those to be battery operated there is a little additional battery accessory you have to buy.
I have since changed the mounting strategy a bit but there was a thread a while back where we talked about this tiny traveler a fair amount.
