I think the delivery to the shop and installed by Tesla is worth the price of admission.

I agree with all of it except having a step option. That does away with it. I like a mix of TESLA full under armor plus rockers from somewhere else with a step. Then front plate and control arm armor.

No. No running boards on the market are compatible at the moment as the Armor package covers up all the mounting points required.

Either Tesla will have to develop their own which is incorporated within the rocker panel or a 3rd party needs to 3D scan the new area and manufacture new mounting solutions for their existing products or design from scratch. My guess is not many aftermarkets will do this as it's already a low demand product on a CT, let alone a CT with Armor package installed.

A person's best best is to use the Lidar system on their iPhone, download a program called PolyCam - not sponsored, then scan the undercarriage of the truck after the Armor is installed. Use any AutoCad program to create retro-fit brackets. 3D print a few test samples for positioning and measurements. Once 100%, take it to their local aluminum print shop and ask them to print the parts.

It actually might, at least to me it appears that way. It looks like it bolts up to all the same battery pack bolt locations as before. Likely may need a bit longer bolt, maybe a couple washes to shim it level. But I’d bet it would likely bolt right up. See pictures of mine installed. It’s the same bolt locations used with the standard rockers. Maybe reach out to the step manufacturer, either with these pics, or even the Tesla Online Service Parts diagram, and see what they think.

Yea we have small children and the step makes it easier. I had one but didn’t love them and also service center wouldn’t do tire work unless I removed them….

Don't know if your joking or serious but you can lower the truck to entry height for easy access. Also, you can save it to lower automatically for easy entry and exit.
