This crap is still happening, eh? Just when I thought it was time to go shopping with my CT and leave it parked without worries. 😕

I don't think it's Elon anymore, the hate (🖕) I receive seems to be coming from people in beater type cars. So I think it's envy over anything else. At one time they was using Elon as a reason but now it's out of pure jealousy, envy and i wish I had of these.
Just my thoughts 🤔

Still happens to me a lot. Went to a movie the other day, park my truck and a woman gives me the middle finger while I pull into my spot. 3 minutes later I am at the concession stand and the same woman is 2 spots in front of me in line. She just stood there with her head down looking at the ground, aware I was the guy she just flipped off outside. I didn't say a word, her discomfort was obvious and somehow rewarding, she realized she was an idiot.

That is the issue with these people. Most of them are doing this because they spend their lives behind computer screens, a reality where there is no consequences 99.9% of the time. They forget in the real world there are real world consequences for actions, such as being arrested for vandalism. It's why the Sentry mode videos always show people smiling and undeterred, they are in their "internet anonymity" mindset. Then the police show up and true reality hits.

Oh wow. That sucks. I’m also in Houston and sometimes travel overseas for a couple weeks. This will definitely be on my mind next week travel. We fly out of IAH though and I normally use parking spot which is fenced in and well lighted.

Oh that would have been great. I would have been mean mugging here the entire time I could see her to make her as uncomfortable as possible. What would have been epic is if you were sitting next to her in the movie too. lol

While we were on a trip, someone felt the need to vandalize our CT by ripping off the wiper blade. They bent it in half and left it rested against the wheel. There was also some minor scuffs/rubber transfer on the cantrail. I ordered a replacement for $75, hopefully that is all that is required and the arm wasn't damaged.

I guess there is still a lot of anger out there for Elon and anything he is associated with.

Where the real problem lies is when your driving back tired on your travels and turn on FSD..and the WIPER swipes to clean the camera!...with no wiperblade.

Something else just hit me. Did you see if there were security cameras on the lot?

If at all possible, I’d pay the fees for Uber. My experience has been that home is the safest place for our CT’s. Even if left outdoors. I only leave my FIAT at airports.

I use two airports, the near one I Uber to. The far one I drive my 2021 Model 3. Not worth the risk of bringing the CT.

Yes because God only knows the FIAT will be in the repair shop anyways ;)

I bought a cover for mine. i use it at airports and sometimes at hotels in questionable areas. its black and just a little baggy. i wouldn't call it a disguise, but it changes the profile and default color enough that a casual passerby looking for a parking spot wouldn't really notice it.
If you want extra protection, you can use a method called "urban camouflage" to further disguise it. Grok can give some really great tips.

I agree to file a police report and also seek compensation from the airport. After all, this is vandalism at the parking lot. I hope you catch the perpetrator (s). Idiots!
