I’m gonna make a bold prediction base on experience and a look at the facts. Many features enjoyed by HW4 Tesla’s still are not available on the Cybertruck (any form of Summon, for example). And some that are on the Cybertruck are very suspect. My prediction is ‘No v14.x’ for Cybertruck and if they label the current v13x as 14x, it will be a stripped down version. Anyone expecting to ‘feel the love’ for our Cybertrucks from Elon has misplaced understanding of what is going on. Cybertruck is a concept vehicle mass produced. None of the inventive features on the Cybertruck have found their way into any other vehicles either now or rumored for the future. I thought when I purchased my Cybertruck I was looking at the future of EV design and construction. Turns out, it’s a ‘one off’ by Tesla. Instead of leading the charge into the future, we’re lagging behind. Still love my CT and won’t part with it but have come to grips with reality and Tesla.

I hope you’re wrong. You may be right.

Tesla Cybertruck FSD 14 release timeline update! “Next Week.” IMG_6192

Cheer up @Mwhusa. A year ago people where on here saying the same thing about how we would “never get FSD” and how we were the redheaded stepchild that got f)$d in the ass by the foundation series tax. Now I drive on FSD 90% of the time , bought a bunch of stuff with my first car credits and have free supercharging on the second one.
It’s black if you choose to look at it that way but the CT is unquestionably teslas premier product at this point because they chose to make very lazy updates to x and s.
It will never develop as fast as the high volume models but I don’t see them abandoning it.

MWHusa is possibly right on the HW4 and FSD 14. Per a long conversation with Grok in my CT today, it's telling me that HW4 is required for FSD14 and there are no posts to allow the hardware upgrade. Hardware upgrade seems extensive to include cameras, sensors and computer. Unsure if there is a warranty upgrade plan or even paid upgrade plan or nothing...but we'll see. The truth is my current FSD is amazing and I drive in tons of different conditions.

Thanks a lot dude! Now, I’m required to watch this movie again soon. Maybe even tonight! Sweet little baby Jesus!

Aren't all chaps ass-less? Asking for a friend.
You mean ass-highlighting right? Your friend is demonstrating a gross misunderstanding of the design logic here. It’s like saying all lingerie is “breastless”. (Another one for your weekly bingo card @dalton108…you’re welcome)
You should tell your friend that it’s only through experience one can gain insight into this.
He/she should just get a pair, wear em out, and see what kind of social commentary they get.
When asked “, they should say, “this was recommended to me by my doctor.”

uh... 48v architecture, steer by wire are probably the two most impactful innovations pioneered and they are certainly coming to the robovan and robotaxi. I think we are just wanting quicker timeframes on full maturation.

The other models have been around much longer than our truck, and we can't expect to be on parity with them yet

The CT has HW4. They just haven't programmed a dedicated stack for the CT, yet. Tesla has already said V14 will show love for the CT. There's nothing that can be or needs to be upgraded in regards to FSD on the CT.

What about FSD while towing a camper? *I* will be in charge of changing lanes...
You can use TACC while towing… but i personally don't recommend it. It brakes suddenly, accelerates aggressively, and doesnt smoothly work with sudden changes in traffic flow… i find myself taking over from tacc in almost every circumstance except bumper to bumper traffic and open road.

So, technically, since there is no week specified, any week could be "next week"!! Technically!
Way to save Elon’s reputation through first principle thinking! 😉
