The long wait is nearly over. After more than 300 days without a major architectural update to FSD, Tesla is finally on the verge of releasing FSD v14. Following the discovery of a last-minute bug this week, the rollout was delayed until Monday.

Elon Musk has now confirmed that the release is slated for tomorrow, October 6th

I’m waiting for PowerShare software. Seems like that would be easier than v14.

Power share package for sale includes power share, and wall charger. Brand new in the box unopened. $1,500.00 OBO.
I have the universal connector, PowerWall 3 and the necessary inverter. I just need Tesla to send me the OTA software to enable my system

As excited as I am for v14, just a quick PSA:
Keep expectations low.

Few things I hope to see:
- Navigational Data fixed (including premature signaling)
- Some form of Summon
- Highway driving (moving out of the overtaking lane and especially with lane hugging)
- More confidence and smoothness
- Some form of Rivian's "Co-Steer"
- Less to No nags

Anything else, folks?

The article says it will cut the strike forgiveness time from 7-3.4...i already was forgiven a strike in the new time frame but I thought it was because they reviewed it and saw I did nothing wrong...? I do not have v14

300 days between major revisions is actually pretty low. Most companies release major revisions yearly, or sometimes much, much longer.

Exactly. The Silverado EV was sold as being over-the-air update compatible. But current owner's are finding the software a mess, 2024's incompatible with the 2025 updates, and having to take the truck to a dealership to get any updates. What should be a simple software update is so complicated it's common for the dealerships to insist no update is available and, when they are convinced to do the update, it's not a straightforward process and success is far from guaranteed. When the updates are finally successfully installed, the actual improvements are minimal to insignificant.

In contrast, I've been updating 5 Tesla over the last 8 years and, as far as I know, every update was done painlessly and over-the-air, none have failed, and the improvements and increased functionality have been regular, numerous and astonishing. I would estimate each car averages at least 3-4 impactful improvements per year of ownership.

GM's automotive software environment is a total mess, with no easy fix in sight. Tesla's software is the best in the auto industry (and when your car runs on software this matters in a big way).

Things I want.

On streets:

Start from park button like the Juniper has.

Reverse from park like the Juniper.

No more red hands from sun or rain.

Less nag.

Destination improvements. Parking or better navigation in parking lots. Pulling into a spot
or backing into a Supercharger.

Highway:

No more red hands from sun or rain.

Less nag.

Quicker to move right from the left lane after passing.

Better construction area performance.

I may think of more later!

How could I forget! No more dry wipes! For the love of God! haha
