Turning factory crossbars into functional rack

Wondering what you guys who have the factory costars do to turn them into a functional rack
Found these but not too familiar with all the options

Cargo basket? Molle panels?,box? or what?
Recommend me something good if you know about it please.
I realize this is task specific but I’d like some general purpose options I can use for all sorts of stuff.

Tesla recommends Yakima products. I tried an amazon rooftop rack but i had to bend the u bolts to get it to fit around the cross bars. Not ideal.

That was probably me. I cobbled together a rack system using bars from Alibaba, a basket from Amazon and a Thule cargo box. The spare is kind of a pickle getting it up there.

I bet, threw my back out just by taking them off and put them back on the other day.. Crazy heavy

This is the off brand one i mentioned… ultimately it worked fine, but getting it secured was a pain.

it was like $100 on amazon, cheapest one i could find

I sold my house and moved on my boat. The box is loaded with crap and it kills my range. It will be removed before I head south for the winter. I was worried about the spare for the first few weeks but it has done fine.

Not sure why, but the guide from tesla says the ev06 is “t slot only” but it looks like the mount goes around the bar in your photo
