I'm so delirious waiting and waiting for the "Cybertruck Upgrade" release, I feel numb to it now. If it takes 2 weeks or 2 months or longer, so be it, whatever. I can say that the next car I buy-I'll make sure the software is where I want it to be BEFORE I buy it.

Darkness is an expected side-effect of nighttime. I've never had FSD tell me it was "too dark", so I suspect you have a camera issue that needs addressing.
No, I think we've had this discussion before. I get it frequently too, but you need to be in a rural/desolate area where there is absolutely no light. You don't see this if there are street lights or even lights from houses or even reflectors.

If you're out in the sticks at night, it's not a calibration issue it just doesn't see anything and it thinks it's gone blind. The proof being that if you're lucky enough to have a car on the same stretch of road and come in the opposite direction that will create enough light for it to realize, "oh there's just nothing to see here."

If you can’t see the Milky Way, you’re not gonna have this problem.

If CT delirium lasts more than four months ask your doctor if Toyota is right for you.

What’s with Toyota anyway-I’m not getting that joke? 🤷🏻‍♂️
No idea. I think it was just a stand-in for any non-smart ice car. I thought it was funny because I actually own an FJ Cruiser as well.

Tesla Cybertruck FSD V14.1 released in 2025.32.8.5 Update! Likely coming to Cybertruck by end of October (says Ashok) IMG_7983

Yeah, well, I don't see myself buying ANY car in the future that doesn't have Tesla's FSD so... The point I was trying to make is I'm kind of over "waiting by the phone" to get an FSD update. When it comes it comes...otherwise, I'll choose a different [TESLA] next time. My "old" 2022 Model X Plaid had more software features THEN, than my 2025 CT. I may revert back to a Model X or whatever they're making in 2028 ish.

Oh, I understood your point and agree with you. I was just enjoying the lighthearted joke that whoever it was made. I don’t think they were being that serious about it.

Beyond that, I’ve made my feelings about this all clear. The CT is not being treated by Tesla as a flagship vehicle and I’m like you, I expect more. So, it will change my buying behavior in the future 100%.

Also, I’m not like these guys on here who believe that the CT is the greatest car that ever is or will ever be made I’m not giving up my sports cars they’re not collecting dust even my FJ still has all of my love just like when I bought it. The CT is just another car in my stable it needs to stand on its own merit. I’m not driving around with rose-colored glasses excusing balls that have been unnecessarily dropped. That’s not my way.

I think a lot of folks are ridiculously over-the-top effusive about it, but that’s their prerogative.

I subscribe 100% to your viewpoint. I have taken my last leap of faith with Tesla. That trust is gone forever. I will be “waiting and seeing” from now on.

The main reason I bought the CT is for more cargo space. My Model X Plaid HAD TO COME with the 6-seat configuration. Those dam middle seats DONT FOLD down so it knee-caps the utility of the SUV in a huge way! IF they decide to make the Plaid version with new folding seats, or the 5-seat variant in the future, there's a chance I'll acquire one of those again. I just can't get myself to buy the non-plaid version with the wood grain interior as it's not to my liking. So, it's a CT for me, for now at least. Oh, and the CT is a great vehicle, no doubt, even with the "left behind" software that will eventually catch up...just hopefully not the week before I get rid of it!

Crazy, I've taken FSD out to the sticks and not seen this before. Must have been a full moon 🤷‍♂️

But @dalton108 wears his sunglasses at night like Cory Heart. Even on a moonless prairie night.
Err…excuse me…his/her majesty @dalton108 , supreme monarch of all things dramatic.

The title says end of October. Sorry if missed it, but where did we get confirmation from Ashok or anyone else that our trucks will get the update by this month?
