While I would love to believe this statistic. It is not completely true. While Tesla is leading the industry in the most parts made in the U.S., it is not 100%. 100% assembled in the U.S. is true.

The graphic is representing exactly what it says it's representing - where the cars are made. This has nothing to do with what percent of the components are made in America, or else every company in the graphic would score lower on "American made".While I would love to believe this statistic. The sad fact is that many "American" cars, sold in the U.S., are not even made in the U.S. anymore. 100% of Tesla's sold here are made in America.
