I don’t see the cross bar bracket mounts on the 2026 model for the 4 bar setup anymore.

I still the mounts above the bed but not the roof.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Yes, beginning with around fall 2024 production models, you need to buy the appliqué with the doors for the roof racks from the tesla shop. They came standard on the foundation series and for a few months after. This is no longer the case. Now they come like yours.

to be clear, the mounting points are still there under the appliqué, so you can either modify your appliqués or buy the ones with the doors from Tesla.

there is a thread on here as well to tell you where to cut your existing trim to expose them yourself. if youre going to cover them with a rack anyway then that might be a fun diy project haha

Cut my own for a roof rack, It's a 5 minute job to cut your own pockets with a multitool.

I am disappointed Tesla has taken this cost savings action. The cost difference to them must be in the single digit dollar range. Sorry OP.

If I were you I would very carefully cut a hole myself, plastic can be tricky to cut cleanly. Then 3D print or find a plug online. If you even need a plug, water wont hurt it, I guess the cover is to keep out debris.

I found lots of sizes on Amazon. Search term "rectangle plastic plug".
