So fun! Hauling firewood is such a great use for these trucks. I hope to do some at my parents property over Thanksgiving week. Bonus: charging batteries for my electric chainsaw from the Cybertruck.

This week’s challenge - to see what is the CT’s range with the new boat. Taking delivery on Tuesday - the CT looks pretty puny next to the 12’-tall boat that weighs 10,300 lbs on trailer. Gonna be real interesting. I went by to see rigging underway and got this relative shot. It’s within towing specs, but barely. The old boat was essentially the same format, 6” narrower and 1,000 pounds lighter, and towing range was 110 miles. I’m hoping it’s close to that.

They are empty, I cut out the plastic tanks and use them to store fire wood.

My first snow rescue with the truck. F150 tried to pull him out but got stuck. Was hoping to save the f150 as well, but to avoid the shame he dug himself out before I could pull his ass out too

How has your Cybertruck been acting like a truck 🦾

That would make me cringe so bad in my Jeep! Stainless for the win! Curious if you saw anything on the body after this?

If it's muddy, it gets very fine micro-scratches in the stainless steel that are visible in just the right lighting, otherwise they are essentially invisible. You can only see them because they are linear while the factory finish scratches are random orbit. The fix is a couple passes with a random orbital sander, that makes it look new again, or even better than new, with a soft, fresh, even glow.

If you managed to get to the bushwhacking without getting muddy, and the brush is clean, I don't think there would be any micro-scratches because they happen when the pressure of the branches force the abrasive mud into the sides of the truck. The plastic doesn't get much wear at all. It might take the "like new" finish sheen off the plastic but it doesn't look bad or beat up after a wash.

I always cringed in my F-150 (and tended to avoid heavy brush), but no more. The vertical A-pillars were susceptible to dents. The big perpendicular mirrors in the F-150 were a problem too, they are more susceptible to damage than the smaller angled mirrors on the Cybertruck. I let the heavier branches fold them in, but I immediately fold them back out because it seems like they absorb the impacts better and help the brush part more gracefully. The shape of the Cybertruck is made for parting heavy brush, just don't try to go too fast if you are hitting woody branches. I've never broken anything but I have bent out one side of the front license by backing up in heavy brush. I just bent it flat again and re-installed. I can't even tell.

I guess this isn't at truck like stuff compared to other posts here, but it was enough for me with my new, just outa the wrapper CT AWD.
Pulled this trailer, I'm guessing about 3500lbs about 100 miles to a show arena.
I had to unhook the trailer so I could lower the tail gate to unload from the vault.
