Most of the new vehicles I've purchased over many years have been white. I like the way white hides the dirt and is less likely to be invisible to other drivers who are not paying very good attention.
I had one black truck, a lifted Toyota 4-Runner back in the 1990's. It looked freaking awesome when it was clean!!!! 🥰😁

Problem was, it was only clean and looked that way about 3-days per month. Black is impossible to keep looking clean without constant maintenance.

Also, it got hot as hell. Back then I lived in Florida. Now, I live in California. I have always lived where the sun is trying to bake you to death every day. Black is the enemy in these areas.

I only bought and owned white vehicles ever since that black truck. Easier to keep looking clean between less frequent washes, and always cooler in hot sun-baked climates.

That said, the silver color of the Cybertruck is right in there in terms of not showing off the dirt
Yes, the SS finish is also "bright" and reflects so much light that it hides any minor dirt and debris on it's surface, BUT, finger prints show up everyday. They are easy to wipe off with some Sprayway, but still need constant maintenance to hide them damn fingerprints....

Don't "hide" the fingerprints, show them off. You can see where I put my hand to shut the driver's door in this pic:

Nobody I know cares!

Here's a photo with the mountains in the background:

I even bought two white Model 3's in 2018 when it was a $2000 upcharge over the least expensive color. Last I looked, white was the default color.

Had a silver 280ZX a long time ago. Hid the dirt well.
