My car VIN is in 90k range (2026 AWD) has "In transfer" for a week, I called Delray Beach (Florida) center and they said it is showing them it is STILL in "El Paso Texas". Expected Date Feb 23 and then they will take 2 days to inspect and clean everything and then I will be able to pick up. Will keep posted about actual timeline

AWD, Gray, w/Cyber wheels ordered on Jan 23. Still no VIN.

I’m not hopeful for a February delivery since the new CT orders are now saying 6-8 weeks.

Oh question for you guys; mine got delivered with FSD v13 which I thought was odd. Is there something I need to do to force v14 or will it do it by itself connected to my home Wifi?
Mine also has FSD 13.2.9 and 2025.44.200
It comes with the software update preference defaulted to standard instead of advanced. I’m sure that’s why we don’t have the latest v14,...
I was wrong about this. I messaged Tesla about it and they said no updates were available for my truck. I asked grok to explain (for what it's worth, grok can be wrong, but it makes sense in this case). Tesla pairs FSD versions with certain branches of the main software. In years past I remember when a holiday update would come out for all vehicles but people on the FSD branch wouldn't get it until later because they hadn't made FSD work with that new UI yet. That's the situation we are in with our new trucks from January and February. They ship from the factory with a certain main software version that is actually pretty new and added some things that the people with FSD 14 currently don't have yet. Grok claims several owners with 2026 trucks already have gotten the update to 2025.45 which allows FSD 14.

Grok says give it 7-14 days and it should be available.

I placed my order for the AWD CT in December 2025. The 3-5 weeks wait time was posted. In Jan, I saw there was one at the Charlotte, NC show room. I decided I could just do a road trip down there from Virginia, about 350 miles to pick it up. I did a final once over of my 2022 Dual Motor Y Model then headed out early morning. Got to the store, signed off on the Y Model and accepted the CT. Just presumed all was good with the CT. Told the rep I would figure things out while driving back home. Hit the road mid afternoon for the drive back home to Virginia. I was quite satisfied with the truck by the time I got home about 10pm.
Is your 10th digit in the vin a T?

- Digit 10 (Model Year): T (Tesla uses T for 2026; confirmed in VIN decoding tables where P=2023, R=2024, S=2025, T=2026).

Yes, T
One of the earliest 2026
Questions:
How many miles so far?
Any problems?
Dry vault/bed?
Wiper good?

I have a July 2025:
Miles so far 7K
Problems, failed and replaced PCS
Not a perfectly dry bed, after they ā€œfixedā€ a very wet bed
No wiper issues
LR window high speed air leak, going for alignment
Infrequent front camera clean warring, going for the offgas change and cleaning

feeling, love the truck, amazing, completely satisfied, I’d do it again absolutely
FSD is addictive
Hoping to benefit from an insurance discount one day for using it

This thread gives me hope that Cybertruck will continue, despite the recent axe given to S and X. Seeing all of you excited for your trucks is uplifting and I am so happy for all of you to join. It’s almost 2 years with my truck and I don’t think I will ever part with it. It is the quintessential vehicle: sports car handling and speed, luxury sedan comfort, pick-up truck utility, self-driving future tech, 4 wheel steering, steer by wire, and much much more. All of you will see what I am saying in a very short while. Believe me, it’s worth the wait.

Added much more tint. I have an early '25 build. When I went in to the wrap expert for PPF (Exotic Solutions in Delray Beach), he suggested tinting the front windows and roof panel to equal the back doors, especially as the truck lives half the year in Florida sun. IIRC, the level was 20% so blocking 80% of light passthrough. That is the level for the CT's back door window OEM tint. I signed up for that, but they called during installation and said that when starting the installation, the roof was already tinted from the factory to the same level as our after-market tint, so they recommended not doing it. I appreciated that, as they had to throw away the material and not be paid for that part of the installation, so very honest folks, but new info to me.

The next time I was at the Tesla SC (Delray) I spoke with a sales advisor who confirmed the change year/year. They had a bunch of CTs next to each other on the lot, so I went out and found a '24 next to a '25 and could see a big difference in roof tint level.
happen to know if the windshield has UV protection as well?

I don’t. We did add some tint to the windshield too. I can’t remember the level, but much less. I would not do that again and am considering removing it. The windshield is so angled that when you look straight ahead you are looking obliquely through a very thick cross section of glass. I cannot be sure why because the tint was installed at ten miles so I never saw the untinted version, but I do see some distortion directly in front of my eyes. I suspect the tint introduced that distortion and it’s accentuated by the low angle. Good intentions with unintentional consequences, like so many aftermarket automotive modifications. It often turns out that professional engineers know a few things.
