i got the good news last week and just picked up my Cyberbeast….went well, a minor window defect was the only issue and appointment set for that to be fixed. But the guy who helped us had no idea about the powershare install…how do I get that started..? I filled out the survey months ago and was approved. I am in Austin.

Thanks

Why not contact your delivery advisor? Delivery should start the process. Any update on when you will get overhead light bar and wheel covers?

You will get an email from a vendor they selected soon. Mine was done through a service called "Treehouse".

Keep an eye open for it.

Service Center doesn't do Powerwall or home installations. So they would not know how you get it installed.

I'm surprised they didn't tell you that you should have gotten an email, tho.

You should get an email survey from Tesla unless you maybe too remote. I did for San Diego. Depending on your current state. Such as solar powerwall gateway whose equipment they will tell you what you need to do. Depending on your needs they may give equipment or shop vouchers. I did not need equipment so I got vouchers. Good luck.

It’s been over a week since I’ve taken delivery of my beast. I have yet to get contacted by anybody since the initial power share approval a few months ago

He said he got the survey and was approved.

I’d just try to respond to that email again.

It took about 2 weeks before the company that was contracted by Tesla to reach out to me.
They may ask for photos of your panels, where you may want it and a good picture of the breakers.

Yeah it’s the Tesla Energy side of the house so your delivery center people won’t know jack. The selected installer in your area will contact you at some point if you’ve qualified after the initial survey. For me that was 12 days after delivery day.

Most people at the delivery or service centers are clueless about the PowerShare install as it is handled by another team, Tesla Energy. If you need answers, give them a call and they will be able to provide info to you.

If you bought the Foundation series, someone from Tesla Energy should be reaching out to you and since you're TX, it'll most likely be installed directly from Tesla instead of a third party.

My Cyberbeast is supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks according to Tesla rep over text. And I haven‘t heard anthing about my PowerShare either. I hope I’ll have a way to charge it before taking delivery.

took delivery of beast on 5-15 have been in same boat with PowerShare. This is what I have found out so far. Tesla has just changed process a week ago so things are still being figured out. New process is that now you are the one ordering equipment for the instal where before the contractor was ordering it and Tesla shipped it to them. Your suppose to get a email with a 2500 credit to use at the Tesla shop to order equipment and it ships directly to you. I also was told to go on the PowerShare info page for Tesla and click the link that starts the process of getting a quote. This for me in NV was done thru Qmerit after this I talked to them and they told me they are waiting for Tesla to set up portal so they can communicate on who qualified for the 4k instal credit. They basically will handle all the work on that side once you agree to quote but they are still working with Tesla to set up system. I called service and ask where my 2500 credit email is so I can buy the equipment and they are working on getting me an answer. All that being said I would go to the PowerShare Tesla page and start the process of getting a quote and see where it goes from there good luck.
