The 2026 still is not watertight - I dont think the vault will ever be 100% dry. (nor is it marketed to be waterproof) But my '26 does have less water after the car was than either of my '24 models do. It is better.
was in the same boat last week. My time frame changed to April 16 to May 30 th. This week I go a vin and back to March.
Nice looking truck! Is this the tinted clear PPF? If so can you post a pic up close in the light? Can you see the texture of the stainless steel through it in sunlight?Ordered my 2026 Premium DM on Feb 5th. Delivered on March 7th. Clear PPF 40% tint and a single ceramic coat was applied to the PPF. Took 4 days for the PPF installation. I think it doesn't look too bad ... but then I picked it out.
It is the Legend Clear PPF with 40% tint. It's 8 mil and I'm told best on non-painted surfaces. It's most common use is on headlights. They coated my lightbar (you can see it's darker than usual in the front photo above) with it so it's obviously transparent. When I had it parked in the sun today I could see the stainless but it was very dark looking considering the level of transparency of the film. The thing I like most is no inconsistency of the color of the panels that is unavoidable with the Cybertruck's uncovered 300X series SS. In a way the tinted PPF acts like sunglasses.and trying to see someones eyes through their sunglasses.
