2026 AWD Core Wheels, Grey Interior
Ordered Feb 5, 2026
VIN assigned Feb 24, 2026
Delivery March 18, 2026
VIN in 91,XXX range
Traded in FS CT AWD VIN in 4,XXX range with 35,200 miles
FSD Transfer worked, took about 20 minutes extra at delivery to confirm with TESLA mothership
Initial observations: I cannot believe how much quieter this new 2026 model is. Not sure if I have the G revision front motor, but there is essentially no noise from the front end. My previous model had a high pitch whine when decelerating from day one.
This time I went with Core wheels and tires, and compared to my Cyber wheels and KO3 Bridgestones, it is a WORLD of difference - simply serene and quiet. Much of our driving is highway, I'm staying with this combo for a while.
I really like the gray interior - seems to flow together much better. The white would reflect on side windows and often prevent a clear view of the mirrors, especially when pulling in and out of our garage.
The windshield is much better sealed on left and right sides, and all panels are just about perfect. Frunk is maybe a millimeter different from left to right, but I don't care.
