I wonder if it checks for cars behind it prior to doing that.
I love the little woodland critters but if it comes down to me possibly squishing a squirrel or getting rear ended by a semi-truck following close behind I will take the first option please.

If cars always stop for the little critters, they will just wander out into roads whenever.

So…those 4 pages have been entertaining but can anyone please tell me what to actually expect improvement-wise once I get 14.3?

From all of the early reviewers; not much! No “sentience,” no ASS, no banish, no change to speed profiles, still can’t exit parking garages, parking behavior virtually unchanged (still makes lots of mistakes), the return of hesitation and light brake stabbing, seems to pay attention to traffic signs a little bit better including “do not enter.”

It was soon found out nothing of importance had changed. It's all "under the hood" changes in preparation for further optimization and (perhaps) v14 lite for HW3 owners. For HW4 owners it yielded ~20% more reaction time, my guess is for HW3 owners it might just be enough to squeeze all the code into the older hardware

Now, it seems, v15 will be the FSD version to look out for based on Elon's tweet:

That leaves us wondering if v15 will fit on HW4.
