I was in the same place. Very hard to choose, but I am happy I went with the gloss black. I just feel it looks more OEM and like paint. To me, the satin looks like a wrap. But I did struggle with the decision.

Felt the same way. If you have a way to see them in person I highly recommend. Pictures don’t give you the full experience for either…

Does the new stickers adhere ok?
I heard there may be issues when you do ceramic coating and then try to apply a sticker over it.
may easily get removed with any decent water pressure. Any feedback?

The shop left the spots for the badges without ceramic and are applying it there after.

No problems so far. I did apply the emblems over the ceramic coating and they are adhering well. Been on about 2 months now. But I am careful when I wash or have detailer do the car. Just try to not to put direct water pressure on them and then also pat dry the emblems rather than rubbing to make sure they don't peel off.

I have the STEK DYNOmatte Black and it gets dusty real fast. You just can't see it unless you are up close. I'm in AZ, so it's a dust bowl here. It wipes right off in seconds (also ceramic coated).

@ItsDrew would you say that the matte black hides dirt better than gloss black though?

I got my truck wrapped with Stek Dynoblack-matte PPF with ceramic coating. The decals are having a lot of trouble sticking. Does anyone have some kind of trick because I literally made those decals four times and they are not staying on well.

Stek Piano gloss black PPF wrap and ceramic coating. 50% windshield tint and 35% driver and passenger, all Xpel Ceramic IR. Couldn’t be happier with how this turned out. Truck looks like a mirror… Also had the tonneau and bed trim ceramic coated to help protect it. All done by Steve Aguilar and his team at Modern Auto Design in Walnut Creek. HIGHLY recommend if you are in the eastbay.

Amazing. Getting the same thing done to mine. Except not doing the front windshield tint. What was your total costs if you willing to share.

I’ve done my windshield at 50% for my last two Tesla’s and highly recommend it. You can’t tell at all from the inside and can barely tell from the outside looking in. It helps big time with the vehicle heat rejection and reduces nighttime glare and sun in your eyes during the day.

Yeah, may want to update the title because it could get confusing to people. There is an actual color called Piano black but I believe it’s made by UPPF. I am struggling to decide between UPPF Piano black & Stek Dynoblack. ?
