There does seem to be some a hold of some sort at the factory cuz see 95k vins being delivered before 93k sometimes, I have a 94k vin assigned for cyberbeast with terrestrial, but the app still shows in production since 4/15 — maybe certain trims or configurations have some parts being held up.
VINs are not sequential with build dates because the automaker has to request them in batches (and the VIN number encodes the vehicle's trim). Automakers like the ability to switch production to different trims at will so the VIN numbers can jump around a bit.

Getting my Premium AWD on Thursday
Ordered 2/28
I recommend not installing the wheel covers. They scratch the daylights out of the wheels.
I gave my delivery advisor instructions to leave them in the bed in the original packaging
I’m trading in my ‘24 Foundation Series CT
Tesla service agreed to refinish the wheels if I agreed not to reinstall them.
The wheel Caps work and look great. Mileage difference isn’t noticeable.

I have an early Foundation Series that I got in February 2024, so I ran without covers for around a year before they came out. I've had the covers on ever since. It's really more about you need to make a decision on which way you plan to use the wheels and covers and stick to it. I knew they scratched the wheels when I put them on, but didn't care since I liked the look and the slight efficiency improvement and knew I'd never take them off (I would go with a different aftermarket wheel if I did). So it's not an absolute "don't do it". Now, on a personal opinion level, with the Core wheels (vs. the Molton/Cyber wheels), I would probably not install them since I personally think the bare, non-covered wheel looks better. But it's a very personal decision, with no wrong answers...

~9,000 vin May FS AWD
So no covers for a while too.
Correct that it’s personal opinion.
Once they’re installed the choice is made for you.
Doesn’t seem like Tesla was universally refinishing the wheels. I got lucky.
But once they’re scratched, you’ll probably want to keep them on to cover the scratches.
Just providing a bit of a warning.

Yeah we pulled the wheel covers off immediately. Rims are already scratched from their initial installation.

I ordered the day before you, and I'm told end of June.
I guess they really don't like me lol.
Was REALLY hoping to use it to haul a trailer - save me like $250 rental + diesel.

I did apply for the loan, since my delivery is now < 60 days, and in the app it still showed as 3.99%. so who knows... (website now shows 5.21%)

I'm assuming from your date format you use Oracle
I must have gotten lucky on the delivery window. I was over the 30 days on financing, but still got the 3.99. Ha, the date format well, I am in IT, but.... I work for the Army and that is where the habit comes from.

I've put together some data based on reported timelines across multiple websites for PAWD Tesla orders. I ordered on April 9th and this is the data on likely VIN/Delivery times for my order. Your timeline is an outlier, contrasted by a known similar order in the same delivery locale which occurred much faster so I'm not sure what happened. Hopefully you get a positive surprise on the timeline soon!

What does the app say is your estimated delivery date? I ordered on 4/11. Thanks for this info.

Nevermind I see yours is 5/16 - 6/20. Mine moved up when I checked last week to 5/6 - 5/27. No VIN yet.

Interesting. I ordered 4/12 and mine is now showing 6/4-6/30.

I order my second beast on 11-15-2025. I have a 2024 foundation beast my wife is now driving - and it's also now pink o_O. My thought was I wanted to get the 2026 but wanted it at the end of 2025. I placed the order and was shown that it would be 3-5 weeks to get it... perfect! I got a message stating the delivery window would be 12/12 -12/31. Knowing how Tesla likes to get as much pushed out by year end I would certainly get it. NOPE, on Dec 17 when i asked about an update, they told me 1/30 - 3/27 and then last week they told me Feb 3 - March 17. This seems weird as they aren't selling a lot of them and I keep checking to see if any are in inventory locally and never see anything be 2025 demo's which I DO NOT want.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I an outlier? The only thing weird about my order is I also ordered the Terrestrial Armor Package on it.
Man, that's rough. To give you some perspective on how much of an outlier you might be: I ordered mine on May 2nd and I already took delivery on May 28th.

It really seems like that Terrestrial Armor Package is the 'black hole' for your delivery timeline. My order was a pretty standard configuration, and it flew through the system in less than 4 weeks. It looks like Tesla is prioritizing high-volume builds to keep the delivery numbers moving, while specialized builds like yours are getting pushed into specific production batches.

Hang in there—the 2026 VIN and the armor will be worth the wait, but you’re definitely not crazy for thinking the delay is weird compared to standard orders!"

I ordered a Cyberbeast on 4 May and it gave a delivery of 4-6 weeks. Has anyone bought a CB recently that can share their timeline experience? Thanks!

I had my delivery estimate move up to May 6th - May 25th. Still no VIN so I think the near side of that estimate is a bit ambitious. Overall the last two estimate changes have moved the delivery date forward so I'm hoping that's a good sign for late March and early April orders.
