Hey CT Owners πŸ‘‹

Quick follow-up to the post from earlier this month about getting your referrals β€” the momentum on the buyer side has been better than we expected.

The short version: buyer demand for new Teslas is hot right now, and several Cybertruck owners from this forum have already gained all 10 of their 2026 referral slots through us. That's $2,500 in Tesla credits β€” for the year β€” already in their account or soon to be delivered to their accounts before we hit mid-May. We're seeing many referrals roll in each day.

πŸ‘‰ Want all 10 of your referrals? Let us do the work for you: https://theteslaref.com/

Why this is moving

We've watched our referral queue turn over faster in the last two weeks than at any point earlier this year. Cybertruck remains in the US referral program alongside Model 3 and Model Y. FSD v14 continues to gain accolades and subscriber uptake, making the referral program's 3-months of free FSD attractive to new buyers.

What's in it for you (and buyers) right now

  • $250 in Tesla credits per qualifying delivery (referrer side)
  • 3 months of free Full Self-Driving (Supervised) for the buyer β€” Cybertruck Premium AWD and Cyberbeast trims
  • Stackable with Tesla loyalty, teacher, military, and select state incentives
  • 10 referrals per calendar year β€” the counter resets every January

What we do

Same as before β€” you give us your code, we get it in front of new Tesla buyers who are looking for one, you collect the $250 credit per delivery. Flat fee per placement, no monthly subscription, no contracts, no DM spam on your end.

πŸ‘‰ Curious how the platform works first? Two-minute read: https://theteslaref.com/how-it-works

If you want in before the next wave

Eight months still left in the 2026 program year. If you'd rather have your 10 referrals used than expired, this is a good moment to get into the queue. The pace from the last two weeks isn't slowing down. But Tesla can end the program at any time, so don't lose your chance!

$125 per referral and get $250 in store credits, which can't be applied towards a vehicle purchase, correct?

Yes, it can in fact be applied towards a vehicle purchase.

The step where this happens is when you actually make payment on the vehicle, not during deposit or order time. Once you go through the normal order flow, and it's time to make the final transfer, there is an option to apply the credits at that time to reduce the payment balance.

It's very much worth using our service if you plan to purchase a new vehicle within a few months.

Let us know if any other questions.

Last year I was able to specify how many referrals I would like to get. I don't see that option on my dashboard. Is it possible to set this number this year?

Thanks again for the service. Here is a question I’ve never been exactly clear about.
How do you go about getting the referral codes in front of purchasers? I’m not asking you to divulge your entire business model and how the sausage is made on a forum, but I think it would likely help sales with skeptics if you could at least tell them what the sausage is made out of.
I’ve never seen an ad that says β€œwant a Tesla referral code?, Call Teslaref”
Let’s say I have a friend who needs a referral code but I’ve already exhausted my 10 for the year, how do I send them your way to get one from someone else who could still benefit from the referral?

Good question, Ace!

We use a variety of methods to distribute the codes in front of buyers. Some distribution channels are paid, and others are organic. Some are websites, social, and other platforms where buyers congregate. That's about as far as we'll go with the secret sauce πŸ˜†

But we'll let you in on one place you can send your friends for a code, now that yours are exhausted: https://teslarefcodes.com

There's also great information on the site for new buyers.

Thanks for the question, and it's been a pleasure helping fulfill your referrals once again this year! πŸ™ŒπŸ»

I'm not seeing how you make your money. I don’t mind you making money, I’m curious how this makes money, if you took 10% of the referral id understand, and be ok with that. But as it stand now, it feels a bit scammy. To be clear, I’m not saying it is a scam, and I’m interested in doing this.

Good question, no worries!

We do in fact charge for each referral made, in the moment the referral is made. We're currently charging $125/referral, and you gain $250 in credits for a profit to you of $125/referral. This covers our distribution costs and some profit for our service.

We sometimes hear complaints about our pricing. But the fact is, for most owners it is just leaving money on the table if you don't use our service. Unless you have 10 different friends buying a Tesla for their first time, odds are you'll likely never make a referral on your own, or maybe one at best.

We made this service because we're Tesla owners who wanted those referrals!

Keep in mind also: all referrals we provide are guaranteed. If a customer cancels, we backfill the referral for free. If one of the referrals doesn't deliver within 90 days, we'll refund it. So rest assured, we'll make sure your referrals are made whole πŸ™ŒπŸ»

And last thing: the referrals expire one year from the time they're delivered. So you need to make sure you plan to use them within 12 months towards service, Tesla store products, supercharging, or towards reducing the price on a new Tesla vehicle.

Wait, what? They are taking 50% of money that comes out of Tesla’s pocket, not theirs. How would that NOT be profitable? It’s all about spending less than that on marketing and still having enough clients the way I see it.

I didnt know they took 50%, that was my question. How do they get the 50% is my next question. I give them my referral, they β€œfulfill it”, Tesla gives me $250 in credit, how do they get their 50% From me?

They charge you $125 and you get $250 from Tesla. There is no altruism here. Pardon me Teslaref, it’s not that you’re not appreciated but this is clearly a good arrangement for both parties.
Less so for Tesla which has always worried me a little.

Ok, so you're doubling my money up to $1,250 by giving me that additional $1,250 back in Tesla store credits. If I'm looking to buy tires from Tesla, this would help reduce my cost.

It just sounds sketchy and slightly worrisome that Tesla could revoke those credits at any time. I think we are concerned with how you're able to make any money if you're getting Tesla to issue an extra $125 each time. Are you gifting the $250 in store credits to our account, or is Tesla issuing it to us?
