So Tesla does something unsafe causing you to take over, but wait, now they want you to take your eyes off the road creating an unsafe situation to fill out a mandatory touch survey.
Great way to transfer liability for all those future FSD lawsuits against Tesla.

Three obvious choices:So Tesla does something unsafe causing you to take over, but wait, now they want you to take your eyes off the road creating an unsafe situation to fill out a mandatory touch survey.

truck won't shut off if you leave it open. so yea, its mandatory.absurd take. nothing about that box is mandatory. if you can't safely respond then ignore it.
You'll most likely stop caring about this once they let you play on your phone while it drives.2) but the speed profiles are just not it. Especially when traveling at 50-55mph or more in oregon. If I am in standard it drives 57-61 mph (in say a 55mph road) - traffic in Oregon usually rolls about 7-10 mph over the speed limit, so I want to go around 63-66 to have good flow of traffic. So I switch to Hurry. Hurry goes to 75-77 mph on roads with speed limits of 55 constantly.. what I have found is on highways or freeways (55-65 mph, standard is 3-5 mph over and hurry goes 15-20 over. There is no in between and no way to adjust. Just a complete miss by the team imho on a piece of machinery that is elite.
I hope someday they fix it, becasue then I could truly press my destination and not touch anything. As it is, on any long drive using highways and freeways I am constantly going back from standard and hurry (either going too slow for normal traffic flow or going so fast I will get pulled over
Really hoping the gunning from stop is resolved with this one as I travel in areas with a lot of stop signs - I just anticipate it now but fingers crossed with 14.3.3.Got the update yesterday 14.3.3 and first time FSD this morning to work:
- Still very tight left turn, extremely close to the vehicle waiting to turn left. It runs over those reflectors on the ground. This problem happened since last update, it used to be fine before.
- Can't say dry wipe is gone or not because it's just a few miles driving. Time will tell.
- Glare from the morning sun popped up for a few seconds and gone.
- Engage the FSD now with a message something like Driving With No Destination.
- Looks like the "gunning" from stop is reduced with Hurry but I might be wrong.
No - I drove up to Seattle and watched 3 Yellowstone episodes… so I am pretty much there. I am just hyper aware of the social dynamics. The car holding up 5-10 cars wanting to go slightly faster or the truck that is going 20mph over and gonna get a ticket. Is “being in FSD” an excuse for going 20 mph over. No. Playing on my phone and getting ticketed won’t make me stop caring. I have no worries about the safety. But having a car driving around the speed limit and slowing down to 10mph lower (causing every car behind to think the driver is complete idiot on turns that have no need to slow down, or going 20mph over. There is no middle ground? I think it is a fair grip. You'll most likely stop caring about this once they let you play on your phone while it drives.
Read the prompt again, only one response is “critical”. Very rarely do you have to take over and most likely it is because of a preference or navigation. And it’s not mandatory, you can ignore it.So Tesla does something unsafe causing you to take over, but wait, now they want you to take your eyes off the road creating an unsafe situation to fill out a mandatory touch survey.

If you ignore it, it doesn't go away.Read the prompt again, only one response is “critical”. Very rarely do you have to take over and most likely it is because of a preference or navigation. And it’s not mandatory, you can ignore it.
