A man after my own heart. Crab season is almost upon us and we will be Washington bound in short order. Want to hang out this year?I love the frunk for it's ease of access and ergonomics and it's use varies a lot depending upon what's already in the bed, the cabin and the frunk. On road-trips, it's where my primary cooler is, off-road there is usually a chainsaw and a rope puller in there. If my bed is empty, I'm more likely to use the frunk since I don't need to secure things in there, it's easier to fill up enough that stuff won't shift around. Of course if the bed is getting full I'll use the frunk for more easy to access stuff so I don't have to move stuff around in the bed. When woodcutting I keep two chainsaws and assorted gear in there (and on the floor of the back seat) so my bed is ready to accept firewood. When doing a big grocery run I usually put the full bags in the frunk, sometimes along with a cooler for meat and dairy. The frunk is also a good place to put some tool bags without securing them, if I need an assortment of tools away from home. It's amazing how much it will hold vs. how much it looks like it will hold. I've become really good at knowing what kinds of bulky items will fit and which ones are too tall or too wide for the lid to close.
