Day 1 - first 35 miles driven - 1st Tesla, 1st Truck, 1st Electic Car

I ordered it in first minute in November 2019 , believed in the truck from day 1.
Waited patiently for nearly 1600 days. Probably the longest wait I have done for anything.
As you can't test drive it, took delivery on 5/5 without any experience in driving the CT, or driving a Tesla , or driving an electric car, or driving a truck.

.... IT is simply an incredible driving experience , exceeded all of my expectations.

Venator Highlights :

1. Turn signals buttons are amazing. Intuitive. Keeping them in left side of the squircle keeps my right hand undisturbed for driving , All good

2. 4x wheel Steering - WOW - why have we done this before. Amazing

3. Cameras for review mirrors , great. No issues. I'm not even looking up anymore.

4. Agility - amazing

5. Acceleration - ? - all smiles with jolt of adrenaline

6. General software - intuitive and smart. Eg. when I adjust the seat or mirror it asked to update my profile instantly.


PS. I get it's a new car, I expect something will come up , another recall , parts replacement etc - however and there maybe

I feel the same way. I picked mine up 4/26 and I can’t stop driving it! There are some small issues that will be easily fixed by Tesla. I believe the plastic center piece on the windshield is not engineered to support the magnetic sun visors. Do not be surprised if it comes unclipped. I had Tesla mobile come out to the house and fix it. I have also had a camera adjustment issue that threw an alarm but none of this petty stuff keeps me from enjoying this amazing truck! IMHO it was worth the wait and well worth the money!
