It only takes 5 minutes to remove them.
What happened to the "Tesla knows best to have reasons and rational for putting those cheap plastic thingy and if you unhappy buy a truck and establish your own car company"? ?

Just did this so i dont have dangly ones, took about 25 minutes, not difficult just some time!
I was just going suggest either just let them get knocked off while off roading or DreMel tool. 25 minutes is good too.

I would be curious the efficiency hit for normal driving…

sort of.

I am going to be looking for CTs without the rear fairings. Thems the serious CTers...

The Cybertruck greatly outperforms my off-road expectations when the going becomes increasingly more rugged. In my experience, if you can't get where you're going with a Cybertruck, you need some pretty specialized off-road equipment to get there. At a minimum, a short wheelbase vehicle like a Jeep.

I've had two short wheelbase 4x4's, and while fun, the short wheelbase gives them a terrible ride over rugged terrain. The Cybertuck goes all the same places I would want to take a Jeep, but it does it easier, and with so much more comfortable of a ride. Off-roading on rugged terrain is never really comfortable and easy from a passenger perspective, but the Cybertruck makes it more so than any other vehicle I've been over rugged terrain in.

Compared to regular 4x4 ICE pickups, there is no comparison. Not only in comfort, but Cybertruck goes places they cannot, at least not in stock form. Granted, most Cybertruck owners are not going to be challenging the limits that are possible with the Cybertruck, but it also excels on easy terrain, such as shown above. It really smooths out the ride and makes travel on bad roads fun and comfortable. Tesla really hit it out of the park with the Cybertruck in terms of off-road capability, ease of driving, and comfort.
Thanks for the feedback from someone with experience. Cybertruck will be my 1st truck, not planning on doing much off road, but love the thought of doing a little of it!

Funny! I removed both my rear wheel fairings pretty early in my ownership and I didn't need a stinking service manual or any tools to do it. I just drove on some forgotten trails with downed trees across the route.

Easy-peasy!

That’s not off-roading!……..doing donuts really…….lifting a wheel? I own a Cybertruck it is a great truck. But off-roading is more than party tricks!
Feel free to post your “real off roading” videos of you and your truck

Def doing both front and back when mine gets back from the wrap shop. Just another thing that can help it appear a little higher and more truck like IMO.
