I am holding off on washing as the buttons in the back stop working if it gets wet too much.
Exterior buttons stop working if it gets wet too much? I'm not sure how widespread that issue is. Rainy season is upon us in FL where it can rain every day.

There is another thread somewhere on this site highlighting this issue. Mine stopped working after car wash but started working again. And others theirs no longer works. My guess is Tesla is going to have to update this part and retrofit it for all cybertrucks.

I'm contemplating a touchless on my raw CT. Are touchless recommended against? I know they don't clean as well, but that's fine by me
Essentially ALL manufacturers warn against most any commercial car wash for any car, touch or touchless.

For the first few washes, I'd recommend a spray wash, preferably one that has warm water. There's a probable oil covering on the truck that needs to come off and takes a little warm water, soap, and elbow grease to get off.
That's responsible for a lot of the initial fingerprints.

Haven't washed yet. Took Delivery on 5/2. Rained 13 of the next 15 days. Then went in for service, and currently getting PPF(done) and calipers.

Seems my problem is the GLOSS Black wrap. Can't go 48 hours with it still looking clean

Curious how often owners are washing their Cybertrucks. I’ve ended up washing my CT around 5 days a week. Some days I just hose it off and dry it with microfiber as it’s ceramic coated. I can’t stand when there’s dirt, bugs and watermarks all over my gloss wrap. Inside I vacuum and wipe down probably 3-4 days a week. The black inside and out really shows any debris.

With that said, I’m loving the look of gloss black. It’s just high maintenance if you’re picky.

Besides liking how the look of the raw stainless is the other reason, I’m not wrapping, even though I have an offer for a free wrap is because I find it is extremely easy to maintain the raw stainless. . Takes about five minutes to completely wipe with Windex and microfiber towels. Spray on one side of the towel, Windex and wipe with the dry side after. The bigger maintenance would be maybe two times a year, using barkeepers soft scrub process you can find on YouTube. I stay garaged so that may be a benefit towards having to clean more frequently than couple times per week.

I've been bringing it to a full touch car wash a few times a week. The pollen is terrible right now in Massachusetts. No issues with scratches at all.
