Am I getting free supercharging or am I an idiot?

Just picked up my Beast and am heading 5 hours back home. Stopped to charge for the first time at a supercharger station. I’m the only one there with 8 stalls. I plugged it in and it started charging. It’s almost full and I’ve seen no indication of how much it costs per kWh and can’t find it anywhere. I am supposed to get the year of free supercharging, but there’s no indication of that anywhere and I thought most people have said it isn’t activated at first. I haven’t added a payment method, so it couldn’t be charging me in the background. What am I missing?

The cost shows up after you are finished charging, if it's free, it'll show $0 and the location of the Supercharger where you last charged
Why are you getting free SC? Is it due to the powershare credit?

Additionally the first one or two times it won't ask you for a payment unless you don't settle the balance as you go it will ban you from supercharging until you pay.

Okay when it finished, it immediately said I’m locked out of charging again until my balance is paid. Odd that I had no way of finding out my charge per kWh while charging, but I guess I just have to have seen it when I routed there

I didn't qualify for Powershare installation so they gave 6 months free Supercharging instead. This was back in March and I think they are now doing a $2500 store credit instead.

Oh ok! I wonder when they will contact me one way or another about the PowerShare installation. I haven’t heard a thing since I filled the survey in April.

When you search for Supercharge locations, under Charging, we discovered it will list the cost per KWh . It ranged from 29c to 54c per. (This was in Vegas) so of course we drove a few miles away from the strip to charge. Most charging station locations don’t really have multiple options, but it was nice to know too search for a lower rate.

as peeps said above, look on your display in the car under charging section, should tell you there.

For those of you in FL, our power company here has FPL EVloution chargers setup sporadically, they only cost .30/kwh where our superchargers are .39. You will need a ccs / chadmo adapter however.

UberNoob, have you found an CCS to Tesla Adapter that works on the Cybertruck at Level 3 that actually does fast charging? I am in the market for one.

How long did it take for the free supercharging to be activated?

I did not qualify for powershare install and was told that I would get 6 months of free supercharging. Picked up my truck on May 24, and the app still says "Supercharger Network Access + Pay-as-you-go".

I went to the SC a week ago to check, and they said that it should be enabled within a month, and is done directly by Tesla.

I picked up the truck before the $2500 store credit was announced. Not sure if that changes anything.
