Thank you to all those that post regularly on here and make me smarter; greatly appreciated!
I’m in NJ with RN#1129….. configured 3/7/24 for AWD and yes, I’m entered in the ORDERS List; wish I was in the OWNERS List.
Been looking at this chart Cybertruck Order and Delivery Statistics but maybe it doesn’t auto update for newer weeks, or it says no new CTs (AWD) have been delivered to NJ in over two months? That just seems crazy with 29 of us waiting, or they are having so much fun driving their FS CT, they have not been back to post/share. I'm now exceeding these times...and I get to be in THAT group with some of you.
At first, I was as chill as feasible because you all said later may be better (fewer issues) but now that FS will start to ramp down (and nonFS will start 9/30 Elon's Q3) I’m thinking I don’t want to be the schmuck that gets the last FS CT and pays a premium to have it (a little bit early). I did read the threads about the extra features and rough cost and what should be standard on nonFS CT’s. That tax credit might be worth a few weeks wait, but certainly not many months more of waiting after years and no clarity on must have options, so no certainty on the tax credit.
How do I tell if my VIN (when I get it) has been previously declined? I assume there is a VIN to Manufacture Date decoder ring I need? I recall reading about someone knowing their CT had been passed on (declined) by a couple buyers.
Any NJ news out there? Thanks!
