Ok, so hear me out…………….
Would anyone be interested in a slide in bed tray that covers the bed bottom and up the sides, finishing right below the anchoring point. Sort of like a bedliner. You could put it in when you were hauling something like branches and bricks or anything else that would mar or mess up the original bed. You could leave it in or take it out when done. A local plastics company in my area is taking dimensions from my CT and making a mock up within the next couple weeks. The whole idea is all the options now just protect the floor not the sides. Is there a market for this?
If it isn’t……….. then Im gonna have the most expensive “one off” bedliner, after paying for the mold to be done!!!!!!!

Probably not for me. If I need to haul, sand, gravel, soil or bark, I will probably just throw a tarp in there, bathtub style, it makes it easier to unload the last bit to not have a stiff liner.

Tarp doesn't protect against a bucket of bricks so I see your desire.... but I hate bed liners. Also you will have a fairly large ridgid object to store if you don't keep it in the bed. Annoying. I've been babying the bed till I see others saying how it's holding up.

Agreed that a rigid bed liner sounds like something else I don’t need in my garage. Spray on Liner if need to protect, and still gives access to the in bed storage / tie downs. Just my $0.02; Best of luck though!

The bed has an epoxy paint or something super durable covering it... doesn't scratch and I pulled 600lbs of scrap wood fence out all at once at the dump. Looks fine. The side panels in the bed are holding up well too. It's denting I'm not sure of and that huge gap defo needs a tarp for dirt.

Im hopeful that by the time I get my CT the aftermarket will have made a decent gap filler piece.

When u get yours? Everyday I like the truck more. It's just so well thought out. Towed trailer first time today. Excellent experience with built in brake controller, just take the diaper cod piece off with 3- 1/4 turn buckles... slide in hitch and back up to trailor. Rear camera is perfect, right to the trailor lift the truck. Like a dream. Hit test lights and it cycles the lights! No other person needed.!

The Amazon $110-119 version is great on the bottom.

Yes, but the sides are not protected and that is what is getting hammered on mine. But I use it for heavy construction so I might be only one of a handful of people that uses their CT like I do. I know its a work truck for me but I am still pretty anal about the appearance of my vehicles.

Best idea I've heard here which are widely available is a 4ft X 6ft x 3/4"horse stall mat. Ranging in price from $50-$140, depending on your location and weighs in around 100lb. Strong enough for a horse to walk on.

I think it is a good idea. Storage might be an issue if you plan to remove it so the ability to collapse it and or fold it might be a good idea. I could envision a 2 or maybe even 3 different versions. One simple and least expensive for the slide it in and leave it in, second along the lines of the easy to remove and reasonably collapsible/foldable for storage in a garage, third and most functional most expensive could have a flap that protects bumper/other rear end components has the ability to funnel out in a controlled manor sand, dirt, gravel,…this 3rd option is obviously a higher tech idea of the 3 and would be the most expensive and probably a permanent fixture int he bed.

Spray-on not work for OP use case? I just imagine having 6x4x2-3 leaning against garage wall when not in use would be… tedious and the wife would be mad. Sounds like you would use it enough for this to not matter, so that might answer your question
