You have already inadvertently conceded that you were WRONG….(citation not included: 'list of many flaws in my logic')
Do you think that a human types every email? They do a select, it spits out accounts, that list then sends out emails and unlocks the configurator.
This needs to be done no matter how many reservations there is. And there's already alot of them. It's already been done.
Additionally, this is basically work of a single person or small group (to make sure buttons are not pressed wrong).
And since the line of orders is a different queue entirely, this doesn't delay any trucks from being delivered. Web/email advertising services don't process orders or service vehicles, so they're completely unrelated to orders.
No, no it's not.
Emails still need to go out, the configurator still needs to be unlocked, and now you've added an additional email and money handling to the process. Each cancellation is more work, and work that's not eventually paid for with a deposit!
Grasp a concept? What concept?
Here's a list of concepts we're in disagreement on:
If you're going to make a list, make a list.
- There are two queues, reservations and orders.
- Reservations are almost entirely automated (except when cancellations occur), and are processed only as often as they need to keep the order list full.
- Orders continue to be filled whether or not there's any reservations at all. That's the job of reservations, constant contact, web services with the configurator.
- Bonus: Web/Email services is a different skillset from sales and automobile service.

funny that you don’t realize it…
Despite your suggestions that the compiling of reservations & submission of invitations and then the subsequent responses is virtually all automated and thus doesn’t affect the time from reservations to delivery—-physics would beg to differ…
The fact is it does take time to send invitations and it does take time to await the responses to said invitations—perhaps you think this amount of time is insignificant, but the fact is when there are potentially a million reservations in front of the one you place today, if they were all cancelled today your reservation today could result in a CyberTruck in your driveway much sooner than if none of the reservations were canceled….
Question: how could that be if these things take no time as you suggest???
the fact that you cannot grasp this simple concept is worrying and is why I cannot take your opinions seriously…
