Paying for purchase with Plaid?

Just got to and choose my delivery date. No vin yet though. Scheduled for this weekend.

I’d like to pay via that Plaid but it’s not an option in there. Does it appear as delivery gets closer?

No, I’m just trying to understand because it doesn’t make sense to me. You normally cannot schedule a delivery day until you have insurance and I didn’t know you could get insurance without VIN. And in your original post you said you had a VIN yet somehow no longer have one? It’s all very confusing. Maybe it’s a glitch or has something to do with the recall and they are going to swap vehicles and the app hasn’t updated?

But if you really are getting a car on Jun 30 then I am confident that you will in fact have a VIN and they will enable Plaid for payment prior to the delivery.

Trust me, I’m suspicious as well. I did and qualified for the long-term shareholder thing, but someone in another group said someone probably just canceled this and I was the closest one at my delivery center to the match, so I’ll probably have my VN soon. If not, I’m being scammed by Elon to make delivery numbers look better for the street.

yea, that’s strange that they would require payment without a VIN and they always require Insurance before a scheduled delivery. Let us know how it gets resolved. BTW…is the edit function still active?

Checked that right away, edit is still on there too.

I’m hoping it was just a cancel because I want my truck, so we will see.

It is end of quarter for Tesla delivery, so they could have some to pump out.

No payment has been required yet, I’m paying cash so it just let me see the calendar and pick my delivery date.

I did get a text from them also.
